Love Hearts Bingo is a UK-focused bingo site named after one of the most disappointing sweets in existence.

Love Hearts are not as bad as those nasty red wax lips (how are they a thing?), but they’re rarely bought by choice. The only reason I’ve ever purchased Love Hearts is that they insist on putting them in those Halloween candy bags with all the edible treats.

You’re supposed to give them to someone you love so they can read messages like, “Kiss Me”. But the only thing you’re telling that person is that you have no taste and couldn’t afford a Snickers.

Needless to say, I wasn’t very hopeful when I began this Love Hearts Bingo review. My hopes were further dampened when I saw the design of the site. It uses pastel colours and an archaic layout to create something that feels like it could have been designed over 20 years ago.

There’s more to a bingo site than its design and name, though. So, let’s take a deeper dive and get to the juicy centre of this saccharine site.

Welcome Offer

Love Hearts Bingo calls its Welcome Offer the Heart Bingo Bonus, which is confusing considering there’s actually a Heart Bingo site out there. It’s a bonus that is open to players who deposit at least £10.

You get 20 Free Spins (on a game of the sites choice). The Free Spins have a win cap of £9,999 and must be used within 2 days.

All of the wins generated through the Free Spins are paid in cash, so you don’t need to meet any strict wagering requirements.

Promotions

The Love Hearts Bingo Welcome Bonus is not the biggest, far from it. But the promotions don’t start there. The site offers regular loyalty bonuses to all of its active players, giving them chances to earn bingo tickets, Free Spins, cash, and more.

The biggest bonus is the loyalty scheme, known as the Ace Club. It’s a multi-tiered program that increases your perks and rewards as you advance through the levels.

When you first join, you’ll get just 1 Free Spin and a KACHING ticket. The win cap for the Free Spins is also very restrictive at this point, as you can’t claim more than £0.10.

As you advance through the levels, the win cap increases, you claim more Free Spins, and you’ll be given more bingo tickets.

Make it all the way to the final level and you’ll get 20 Free Spins with a £1 win cap, along with 3% cashback and a total of 110 bingo tickets.

Away from the bingo games, Love Hearts Bingo has a selection of slot machines. The bulk of these are provided by Microgaming, a beloved developer that has produced many top slots. Deposits and Withdrawals

Love Hearts Bingo has a good selection of payment options, but it’s very slow when it comes to withdrawals. It takes at least 2 days for the site to process your withdrawals and it could take up to 8 days for the funds to hit your account.

That’s a long time. You can send a bank transfer to another country in less than half that time. The last time I sent money abroad, it stalled for two days, I wasted a day on the phone sorting out an issue, and then I had to wait for a bank holiday weekend. Despite all of that, it still didn’t take 8 days to process the payment.

There’s just no excuse for an online casino to take that long. Of course, most payments will be processed in half that time, but even that’s too slow.

Love Hearts Bingo Review Summary

I have a few issues with the way Love Hearts Bingo is structured. I’m not a fan of the theme, but more importantly, it doesn’t respond well to being resized on desktops. That might sound like a minor thing, but it’s essential to how I play and review, and it’s something that a modern gambling site should accommodate.

Ignoring these issues, and the relatively small Welcome Offer, Love Hearts Bingo has some good bingo games, payment options, support, and more. It’s a good site on the whole but falls a long way short of perfection.
