Zodiac Casino is owned by UK-licensed Apollo Entertainment, making it a sister site of Captain Cooks Casino and Villento Casino. I had good and bad things to say about both of those sites, noting how the wagering requirements were ridiculously high and the layouts weren’t great but the bonuses were fantastic.

So, where does Zodiac Casino fit into that? 

Welcome Offer

The welcome bonus is eye-catching, but not always for the right reasons.

First, let’s address the positives.

It’s a massive bonus and it is spread across five deposits. So, when you first join Zodiac Casino and make a deposit, you will be given £20 in credits. You can deposit as little as £1 to qualify for this offer, though you must deposit at least £10 for all subsequent bonuses.

That £20 bonus offer is listed as “80 Chances to Win the Mega Moolah Jackpot”. It doesn’t mean that you have to spend your credits there though. That’s just the casino’s way of adding a unique spin to a traditional bonus.

When you have finished with this first deposit offer, you can advance to the second, and then the third, fourth, and fifth:

• Second Deposit Bonus = 100% Match up to £100
• Third Deposit Bonus = 50% Match up to £80
• Fourth Deposit Bonus = 50% Match up to £150
• Fifth Deposit Bonus = 50% Match up to £150

It’s all pretty impressive and means you can collect a maximum of £500 while also being incentivised to stick around long enough to make 5 deposits.

Now for the bad news—the wagering requirement.

Some sites have a fixed wagering requirement of 25x. Others go up to 50x. I have criticised sites like Aztec Wins in the past for going up to 65x. But with the Zodiac Casino welcome bonus, you must clear an eye-watering 200x.

And no, that’s not a typo.

It means that if you deposit £10 and get a £10 bonus, you must wager a total of £2,000 before you can withdraw any of it.

Before reviewing Zodiac Casino and its sister sites, I don’t recall ever seeing a wagering requirement of 100x. These sites not only passed that milestone, but they absolutely shattered it.

Other Bonuses and Promotions

Despite going all-out with its welcome bonus, Zodiac Casino doesn’t always impress in the loyalty bonus department. There are occasional offers and reasons to stick around, but it’s lacking when compared to other online casinos. Loyalty bonuses and VIP clubs are big business these days, and Zodiac Casino haven’t really jumped on board.

Slots and Other Casino Games

Zodiac Casino has the same selection of games as its sister sites. They are all provided by Microgaming, one of the biggest creators in the industry and one that has played a large role in making the iGaming sector what it is today.

Microgaming has a large selection of classic slots, the sort of single-payline, three-reel games that you may have played in pubs and clubs decades ago. There are also classic bonus slots like Thunderstruck, as well as progressive jackpot games that have 5- and 6-figure prizes, including Mega Moolah and Major Millions.

Personally, I am not the biggest fan. It’s not because I dislike Microgaming, but rather that I’ve played these games hundreds of times in the past. It’s a case of “same-old, same-old” for me, and many old-school slot fans may feel the same.

If you’re a huge fan of Microgaming or these games are still new to you, Zodiac Casino will feel fresh and fun from the first spin.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Zodiac Casino doesn’t charge for deposits or withdrawals, with the exception of direct bank transfers. PayPal, debit cards, Skrill, and Neteller are accepted and while the site has withdrawal limits, they are high enough not to cause an issue for the vast majority of players.

Withdrawals don’t seem to be instant, but you shouldn’t be kept waiting long to get your funds. If you want to speed things up, stick with PayPal. It means that the only waiting time is the pending withdrawal period. As soon as the casino processes the payment, it should land in your account. The same can’t be said for debit cards.

Zodiac Casino Review Summary

Zodiac Casino uses the same template as its sister sites. I am not a fan and think it looks dated. That’s just a small piece of the puzzle though and there are more important things to focus on here.

The main issue is the wagering requirement, which ruins an otherwise fantastic welcome bonus. It means that have to go on a long journey and get very lucky if you have any hope of getting real money out of that bonus. You could turn £10 into £1,000, lose it, repeat the process, and then still have a long way to go.

On the whole, I do like Zodiac Casino and would personally sign up just to take a stab at that welcome offer. If nothing else, it’s a challenge and a good way to spend an hour or two. It’s also a great opportunity to play for the Mega Moolah jackpot.
