Lucky Vegas claims to be home to the “best slots” from the “Biggest and Baddest Providers in the Game”. Which is promising. But it also states that only “special games” can “force their way into our library”, which sounds like a very disturbing euphemism.

The site is owned by Skill On Net and holds a license from the UK Gambling Authority. In addition to grand claims made about its games, it also promises some interesting bonuses and fast withdrawals, but how many of these promises does it actually live up to?

First-time depositors on Lucky Vegas can get 100 Free Spins on Book of Dead. It’s not the most exciting or generous bonus you’ll encounter, but it’s not bad.

The terms aren’t the best, though.

I have complained in the past about sites that have a maximum bonus of £50 and a minimum deposit of £10, as these things should never be so close. With the Lucky Vegas Welcome Bonus, you only need to deposit £10 to qualify but that’s where the benefits end.

The Free Spins are valued at £0.10 each, which is one of the lowest you will see. It’s fairly common to see them so low, but that doesn’t make them any more palatable, especially when there are sites out there offering Free Spins at £0.50 to £1 each.

The Maximum bet is 10% (min £0.10) of the free spin winnings amount or £5 (lowest amount applies).

Other Bonuses and Promotions

Lucky Vegas doesn’t have a traditional loyalty program, which is a shame. These have become commonplace on many online casinos, including Jumpman Gaming sites like Aztec Wins and top sportsbook/casinos like PokerStars. Players have come to expect them, and so their absence is glaringly obvious.

There are loyalty promotions, but the same could be said for pretty much all online casinos and I’d prefer to see a traditional VIP/Loyalty Program.

What I do like about the site’s offers is that it regularly hosts real money slot tournaments. These are a great way to boost your chances of some winnings while playing online slot sites.

Lucky Vegas might have some of the “baddest” developers, but there aren’t a great number of creators actually on the casino’s roster.

The Lucky Vegas games room includes Yggdrasil Gaming, NetEnt, NoLimit City, iSoftBet, Push Gaming, and Microgaming, with Evolution Gaming supplying its Live Casino games.

It’s not one of those casinos that hosts dozens of developers, but it’s still a good selection and it’s one that includes many games. What’s more, Microgaming, NetEnt, and Yggdrasil have well over 500 titles between them, so there’s no shortage of options.

There are a couple of issues I have with this site, and they are pretty much the same issues I have with countless other casinos.

Firstly, the categories and filters are limited. I don’t just want to see the newest slots or the most popular. Nor am I interested in just searching by developer. I want to see a list of slots based on their features, including Megaways and Cascading Reels.

Show me a casino that lets me filter by slots with Locked Wilds, Sticky Wilds, and Cascading Reels, and I’ll be a very happy man.

The other issue concerns the limited landing pages. Unless you’re a member, it’s hard to know what Lucky Vegas has to offer, as only a handful of games and the most basic of info are included on the main landing pages. Everything opens up when you join, but why would I walk into a shop that has nothing in the windows except for a vague promise that it definitely sells something?

Lucky Vegas Review Summary

Lucky Vegas is a decent casino, but it’s not extraordinary. In fact, it’s pretty basic. You won’t find the biggest selection of slots, the most unique games, or a big variety of loyalty bonuses. It also lacks any eye-catching Welcome Bonuses, lesser-used payment options, or the sort of unique features seen on sites like Jammy Monkey and Duelz Casino.

It’s standard. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

If you’re here looking for the next big thing, a casino where you can spend most of your time, Lucky Vegas is probably not for you. You’d be much better off with a site like 888Casino or Foxy Games. If you’ve already joined these sites—and countless others—and just need another new site so you can collect another Welcome Bonus, go for it.

I always feel weird making these kind of recommendations, but let’s be honest, most players have joined dozens of sites and are just in it for the bonuses. I’m sure casinos know that’s the case. If not, they should stop producing generic sites and start giving players a reason to choose their site over everything else.
