I haven’t had the best experiences with 888. In fact, that’s an understatement.

A number of years ago, I joined 888Poker and spent all of my deposit buying into a poker tournament, only for the crappy “888Poker for Mac” software to timeout after 15 minutes and refuse to give me access for another 4 hours, by which point I had been folded out.

A couple of years later, I tried to withdraw to a credit card on 888Sports. The site let me. Everything seemed fine. But after 2 weeks, the money/credit wasn’t there. When I finally got through to someone—a process that was neither quick nor easy—I was informed that MasterCard withdrawals weren’t possible and I would need to select another method.

It would have been nice to have learned that fact via an error message, email, or generally something that didn’t require me to wait 2 weeks and then contact them.

These are just 2 issues. There were more.

Needless to say, I’m going into this review with a bias. I’m trying not to, but it’s hard to avoid. The good news is that of all the issues I’ve had, none have been on 888Casino, so here’s to wiping the slate clean and hoping things go smoothly.

In addition to the Welcome Bonuses, 888Casino has a couple of Live Casino bonuses. These change all of the time, but 888Casino is clearly proud of its Live Casino and so it always has some kind of bonus available.

There is also a Loyalty Program. The program gives you Comp Points when you play and these can then be converted into cash. The more you deposit and wager, the more you’ll earn—it’s all standard stuff, but it’s a great program.

One complaint I have with all of this is the speed of the site. By the end of this review, I was ready to smash my laptop if I saw another one of those green logo loading screens. It’s a minor complaint as I’m only talking about a wait of 2 or 3 seconds, but it gets annoying.

Depositing and Withdrawing

The minimum deposit amount on 888Casino is £10. This applies to all payment methods. Although you’ll need to deposit at least £20 for the matched deposit bonus.

888Casino accepts PayPal, Apple Pay, Paysafecard,Trustly, MasterCard Debit, Visa Debit and a bunch of others.

You must withdraw to the same method used to deposit (until the deposit amount has been returned) and there is a minimum withdrawal of £10. You will most likely be asked to verify your identity before you make a withdrawal and even before you start playing, but this process is very quick and painless.

The pending time is around 24 hours for most withdrawal methods, so it will take anywhere from 1 to 8 days to get your winnings.

888 Casino Review Summary

As noted already, my experiences with 888 haven’t been the best. Usually, things go smoothly at first, but then the wheels fall off and I’m angry, frustrated, and wishing I’d gone elsewhere.

Thankfully, there were no such issues with 888Casino. In fact, while I always join the casinos that I review, 888Casino is one of the few that I will continue to use long after this review goes live.

Do I wish I’d made a deposit larger than the token offering I use for reviews? Yes.

Am I a little annoyed at myself for not committing more? Most definitely.

Will I be adding this site to my list of general 888 struggles and moaning about them from here to eternity? Let’s hope not.

Although I feel like I’ve moaned a lot in this review, 888Casino is a great site. It’s genuinely one of the best I have reviewed here on Bingo Paradise, and it’s hard not to recommend it.
