Positioned comfortably as a household name in the UK, William Hill is a giant in the world of betting companies. The mega-brand changed hands in 2022 when it was sold to 888 Holdings in a sale worth a whopping £1.95 billion.

The William Hill website offers players a number of tabs, each contains different sections of their website where you’ll find ‘Sports’, ‘Vegas’, ‘Live Casino’, ‘Bingo’ and ‘Poker’. For the purposes of this review, we’ll be discussing the ‘Vegas’ section which is essentially where you’ll find the slot games, table games and live casino titles. Games Available at William Hill Vegas

As you’d expect, the ‘Vegas’ section of the site is packed with just about every slot title you’ve ever heard of. The layout of the slot pages is helpful with games being grouped together under titles such as ‘New’, ‘Top Slots’ where you’ll find the likes of Rainbow Riches, ‘In Shops’ which of course refers to the titles that you’ll find on the slot machines in the high street betting shops and ‘Slingo’ which contains over a dozen variants of Slingo.

In addition to the slot games you’ll also find a variety of ‘Table Games’ and ‘Live Casino’ titles. Again, each of these is set out nicely in their own categories. Those who are into live gaming will be pleased with the variety of different live casino games on offer, including roulette, blackjack, virtual games, baccarat and poker.

Every big name casino should have a decent range of promotions and we’re pleased to report that William Hill, at the time of writing, appeared to have five promotions up and running under their ‘Vegas’ tab. I’ve mentioned only four of them below because I can see that they’ll remain active for some time yet whereas one of the ‘mega’ promotions relates to a very popular horse race that will soon pass!

What is it? Basically, this is the chance to win thousands in instant cash prizes whilst playing slot games. All you need to do is load your favourite game and look out for the ‘Strike Gold’ in-game popup which could appear at random on any spin. The top prize is £1,000 so keep your eyes peeled!

-The Bonus Drop

What is it? This is a one entry/day promotion whereby you play ‘The Bonus Drop’ game. You’ll be given one free disc and you’ll need to choose where to drop it. It can land on either ‘win’, ‘no-win’ or ‘retry’.

The prizes available are free spins to use on slot games, a free bonus to use on one or more specific slot or table games or a cash prize which will be added to your main balance.

What is it? This is a good old free spins promotion on a game that offers 15,625 ways to win! It’s available to new players only and can only be accessed once per player. To use this promotion you’ll need to click ‘Get your spins’ from the ‘Promotions’ page and place a stake of at least £10 from your main balance.

Depositing and Withdrawing

William Hill accepts just about all the most commonly used forms of payments, including debit cards, Paypal, Paysafecard, Neosurf (pays only in Euros) and bank transfers.

Nothing jumps out too much from their terms on this topic, their minimum withdrawal is £5 if using a Visa Debit or MasterCard whilst the minimum is £10 for Paypal and £25 for Apple Pay.

As with most sites, withdrawals will need to be processed to the same banking method as the deposit was made.

We feel that the withdrawal times are good and our reviewer Paul commented that he tends to find his withdrawals are processed by the next day. Things will likely happen more quickly if you use Paypal and bank transfers and debit cards can probably be expected to take the longest.

William Hill Vegas Summary

As we said at the beginning, this review relates specifically to the ‘Vegas’ tab on the William Hill website and we’ve found that the offering in terms of slots, table games and live games (all the things you’d find in actual Vegas) is substantial and that the promotions are plentiful.

William Hill is one of the biggest names in the industry and it would have been a surprise to have felt the site to be deserving of less than 4/5.

So after careful thought, but to no surprise, we’ll set the score to 4/5. We can say with confidence that this is a decent choice of casino with no obvious or major flaws standing out to us.
