For instance, if I join one of the casinos on this page (all of which have this offer) and I deposit £50, I will get an additional £50 for a total of £100. Simple, right? Well, yes, but there are some terms to be aware of.
In some cases, they can be steep and demanding, taking the sheen off the bonus. If you’re a new player, however, even the simplest and most generous terms can be confusing.
What are the 100% Deposit Bonus Terms?
The most important 100% deposit bonus terms are usually listed in the promotional materials, often as small print on the bottom of the banner/email/text. This doesn’t paint a complete picture, though, which is why I always take the time to read the bonus terms (when I’m reviewing casinos, that is. If it’s just for me, I ignore them like everyone else).
Luckily, you don’t need to read them in full to get the info you need. You can either check my reviews and benefit from my hard work (those bonus terms are not exactly exciting), or use the CMD/CTRL + F feature on your keyboard to pick them out.
So, before collecting the bonus, look for a link to the full terms and conditions and keep an eye out for the following:
Minimum Deposit and Maximum Bonus
These two terms are usually the first ones you see and are typically included in the main bonus text. It will often look something like this:
“100% Deposit Bonus (up to £100). Min. £10”
This means that you must deposit at least £10 to qualify for the bonus, and every penny you deposit between £10 and £100 will be doubled. If you deposit more than £100, you will receive the maximum bonus payout of £100.
The minimum deposit amount is key, as many casinos have a general minimum deposit that’s lower than the bonus minimum deposit. This means it’s possible to make a valid deposit that’s accepted by the site but isn’t large enough to qualify for the bonus.
Wagering Requirement
Wagering requirements are used to prevent you from collecting the bonus and withdrawing it as cash. This term requires you to wager your bonus a specific number of times before it’s transferred from your bonus balance to your real money wallet.
The wagering requirement is often listed as a multiple, such as the “65x” bonuses on Jumpman Gaming sites. But it’s not just the number that you should be focusing on.
Wagering requirements can apply to the bonus amount, the deposit amount, or both. Where 100% bonuses are concerned, you could end up chasing twice the amount than you realise, so it’s important to know where you stand.
Wagering Contributions
Not all games are treated equally when it comes to the wagering requirement.
More often than not, progressive jackpot slots are not included. You can still play them while your bonus is active, but none of those spins will count toward your wagering requirement. Table games and Live Casino games often count for very little or nothing at all.

Caps and Time Limits
A win cap doesn’t prevent you from winning more than a certain amount. If there is a cap of £200, you can still win £1,000 playing slots or table games. But just because those funds hit your account doesn’t mean you have found a loophole.
The cap actually comes into effect when the wagering requirements have finished (either because you met them or the time elapsed), at which point all money above the cap will disappear.
Winnings caps are included on many casino bonuses, but they’re more common on free spin bonuses than 100% deposit bonuses. Still, it’s worth checking out for them, as it could save you a lot of disappointment.
Time limits govern when you should use the bonus and when you must meet the wagering requirement. The former is usually fixed at no more than a week, while the latter typically runs for 30 days.
Limitations and Restrictions
There may be restrictions on which games you can play with your bonus and which payment methods you can use to collect them.
Where UK casinos are concerned, it’s common to see bonuses that exclude Neteller and Skrill payments. PayPal and PaysafeCard payments may also be excluded.
If you make a deposit with one of these methods and it’s excluded, the funds will hit your account, but the bonus won’t. How to Get More from a 100% Bonus
The first thing you should know about 100% deposit bonuses is that they can differ greatly from site to site. Just because you accepted one bonus without issue doesn’t mean you’ll have the same experience with another.
Most negative casino reviews revolve around bonus terms. Many players just get the wrong end of the stick and then react angrily when things don’t go their way. Others misread or ignore the terms. This is not one of those times when the company will understand your mistake/ignorance and then let you off the hook.
