OK! Bingo was founded way back in 2009, making it a veritable dinosaur in online gambling terms. It was launched off the back of OK! Magazine, which has a history that dates to the early 90s. OK! is a massively respectable and recognisable brand, but despite its near 3-decade history, I still can’t read the name without picturing a petulant teenager being told they need to clean their room before playing with their friends. OK! Bingo is part of the massive Jumpman Gaming network and is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Welcome Offer

Jumpman Gaming sites are big on Fluffy Favourites right now. The sickly-sweet slot looks like an early learning cartoon waiting to be voiced by a struggling actor. Not my sort of thing. OK Bingo, however, is pleasingly different. They currently offer Jumpman's new 'Match Up Bonus' which allows you to win up to 1,000% of your deposit in bonus funds. The minimum first deposit required to take advantage of this offer is £10. As is so often the case with Jumpman casinos, the bonuses don’t end with the Welcome Offer. Bingo Rooms

The majority of Jumpman Gaming sites blend a similar mixture of slots and bingo games and then just call themselves a Casino or Bingo Room. So, while OK! Bingo seems to be bingo related and Casper Games suggests it’s all about the slots, they’re basically a carbon copy of each other. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, as it means you have access to over 500 slots and a dozen or so bingo rooms, including 75-Ball, 80-Ball and 90-Ball games. 5K XTG Saturdays arguably the most notable of these as it literally has 4-figure prizes, but you’ll also find big payouts in The Jackpot, Heavy Weight, and Super Heavy Weight rooms. Most tickets cost less than £0.20 and there are games beginning every few minutes or so. The rooms were pretty sparsely occupied when I joined and there was a clear preference for the aforementioned games, but it’s all relative. Fewer players may mean a smaller prize pot but it also means you have more chance of winning.

Slots and More

OK! Bingo has a decent selection of slots and these are provided by developers like NetEnt, Blueprint, Eyecon, and Microgaming, with the bulk of the games coming from the latter. You’ll find Rolling Reels slots (Basketball Star, Break Away), Locked Respins (Butterfly Staxx) and Megaways (Buffalo Rising, Diamond Mine), and they work on most platforms and devices. The OK! Bingo Live Casino is small, consisting of just a handful of Pragmatic Play Live games (mostly Blackjack and Roulette) and there are a few virtual table games to keep you busy, including Casino Solitaire, Mega Wheel, and several Blackjack variants. I’m a little disappointed in this selection, if I’m honest, as it’s neither here nor there. I’m not much of a table game fan, but I do like the occasional game and there’s nothing here that would entice me. For me, Blackjack has to be Double Exposure (Microgaming) or Switch (Playtech), and while OK! Bingo has the right developers; it doesn’t have the right games. Poker has got to be Hold’em, Roulette has got to be classic French Roulette, and Baccarat needs to be Live Baccarat. All those points are missed and replaced with games that just don’t interest me. It’s like the time I ordered vegetarian sausages, broccoli, and frozen peas from a supermarket home delivery service and they gave me SPAM, parsley, and sweetcorn—they kind of look the same, but only if you squint really hard and use your imagination. If the games don’t appeal to an occasional table game player like myself, I can’t imagine they’ll have much to offer a diehard fan.

Depositing and Withdrawing

OK! Bingo accepts debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro) PayPal, Paysafecard, and Pay By Mobile. Of all these methods, PayPal is probably the best. It’s quicker than debit cards, allows for higher limits than Pay By Mobile, and is more straightforward than Paysafecard. Unlike the Fabulous Bingo and a number of other casinos, a PayPal deposit won’t exclude you from the Welcome Bonus. OK! Bingo Review Summary

It’s fair to assume that OK! Bingo, just like 888Ladies, targets women more than men. Women far outnumber men on these sites and while male players are increasing, many prefer to stick with the brands they use already, including bingo rooms attached to sports books like bet365 Bingo and Ladbrokes Bingo. But if you ignore the fact that OK! is a women’s magazine, there’s nothing to suggest that it’s more female-oriented. It’s pretty neutral with regards to its colour scheme and general aesthetic and that seems to be intentional. Also, we’re talking about bingo here—it’s not gendered! If you’re male and you like the look of its games and bonuses, go for it. The only question you should be asking yourself is whether OK! Bingo is worth your time and money, and whether it’s comparable to sites like Foxy Games. I personally don’t think it’s quite as good as anything by Foxy or Mecca, and I wouldn’t put it on the same level as major sportsbetting brands. But it’s definitely worthy of your time and is just as good as Lights! Camera! Bingo and other popular Jumpman Gaming destinations.
