Welcome offer
PlayUK is run by ProgressPlay Limited, account number 39335 on the Gambling Commission's register, and the site says it has been running for close to ten years.
That first line is worth pausing on, because it is not what we used to say here. This review previously described PlayUK as a Grace Media casino licensed in Gibraltar. The site's own footer now names ProgressPlay, so the platform, the cashier and the terms have all changed hands since we last looked. Everything below was checked against the operator's live pages rather than carried over.
Welcome offer
A 100% match on your first deposit up to £100, plus 50 free spins.
The match is the reason to look at this one. Most casinos on this platform stop at £50, so PlayUK doubles the ceiling, and it still adds spins on top rather than making you choose between the two.
Wagering is ten times the bonus within 30 days, and ten times any free spin winnings within seven days. Ten times is the legal maximum in Britain since 19 January 2026, so nobody can lawfully ask for more, and the seven days you get for the spins is the tighter of the two limits. Your own money is staked before the bonus, which is the arrangement you want: it means a winning session can end with cash in your balance rather than a bonus you are still working through.
One thing the headline does not tell you: deposit with Skrill or Neteller and you get no bonus at all. That sits on the deposit methods page, not next to the offer.
The cap, and why we are giving you two numbers
Max conversion on the bonus is one time the bonus amount. Deposit £100, receive £100 of bonus, clear £1,000 of wagering, and the most that becomes withdrawable from the bonus is £100. That is the ordinary shape of the deal here and it is at least consistent.
The free spins are a different matter, because PlayUK publishes two different caps on them.
The landing page our link reaches states max conversion from free spins of £500. The casino's own homepage, advertising the same 100% up to £100 with 50 spins, states £20. Same offer, same operator, same week, and a £480 gap between the two.
We cannot tell you which one your account will honour, so we are not going to pretend otherwise. Plan around £20, because that is the lower of the two and the one published on the site you will actually be playing on, and check the figure shown in your own account before you use the spins. If a casino wants to be judged on the better number, the fix is in its hands: publish it once.
Promotions after the welcome
Better than most of the network. There is a Mystery Box running on code MBOX that pays up to 100 free spins, and a Trio of Fortune offer spread across three deposits worth up to £250 in bonuses with 105 spins attached. Plenty of sites on this platform hand you one welcome and then go quiet, so a site with something to come back to is doing more than the minimum.
The same account also covers bingo and sport, each with its own welcome: £50 of bingo bonus for a £10 deposit at two times wagering, and a £30 free bet for a £10 qualifying bet. Two times wagering on the bingo bonus is unusually light. You are choosing one welcome, not collecting all three, so decide which product you are actually here for before you deposit.
Paying in and getting paid
Debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Paysafecard, Payz, Pay By Bank, Neosurf, Skrill and Neteller are all accepted. Neteller carries a £20 minimum deposit where most methods take £10.
Two charges are worth knowing before you pick a method. Withdrawals carry a processing fee of 1% of the amount, up to £3, which is standard across ProgressPlay's casinos and is charged every time, so four small withdrawals cost four fees. And PayViaPhone deducts a 15% processing fee from the deposit itself, caps you at £30, and cannot be paid out to, so a £30 phone deposit credits £25.50 and still leaves you needing a second method to get money back. If you have a debit card or PayPal to hand, use it.
The minimum withdrawal is £2.50 by most methods, or £50 by bank transfer, which is a genuinely low floor. Verification takes up to three working days from when the documents land, and bank payments can take a further seven business days to show.
Support
Live chat runs 24 hours a day once you are logged in, with email at customersupport@instantgamesupport.com behind it and an FAQ section on the support tab. Round-the-clock chat is the right way to run this, and it matters most at the moment something goes wrong with a withdrawal, which is rarely during office hours.
The operator's record
ProgressPlay was penalised £1,000,000 by the Gambling Commission on 9 May 2025, alongside a formal warning and a mandatory third-party audit, for anti-money-laundering breaches and failures in how it interacted with customers showing signs of harm. It had already paid £175,718 in May 2022.
Two penalties in three years, the second more than five times the first, is a pattern rather than an accident. The audit condition is the part to watch, because it means the regulator wanted someone outside the company checking the fix. We include this on every review of a ProgressPlay site, not to warn you off, but because a licence in good standing today and a clean history are not the same thing.
PlayUK review summary
Three out of five. The welcome offer is the best version of this platform's standard deal: a £100 match where the siblings offer £50, 50 spins on top, wagering at the legal floor and your own money staked first. Round-the-clock live chat, a £2.50 withdrawal floor and real promotions after the welcome all count in its favour, and so does having bingo and sport on the same account.
What holds it at three is the arithmetic around the edges. The 1% withdrawal fee is a nuisance that the better UK casinos do not charge. The 15% phone deposit fee is worse than a nuisance. And a site that publishes two different caps on the same free spins, £500 in one place and £20 in another, is asking you to find that out for yourself. Fix the cap and drop the withdrawal fee and this is a four.
