Yeti Casino is a sister site to All British Casino and a handful of other popular online casinos. It features a cartoon yeti as its mascot and is bathed in a calming blue. Welcome Bonus

The Yeti Casino welcome bonus is a little unusual, and I’m not quite sure if it’s unusual good like dark chocolate and chilli or unusual bad…like Jimmy Saville.

On the surface, it looks like a matched deposit bonus with a cap of £111 and 100 free spins, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. It is actually a refund bonus, which means the money you get is based on your losses and not your deposit. There is a minimum refund amount of £10 and a maximum of £111.

So, if you deposit £100 and lose all of it, you will receive £100 in bonus credits. You’ll also get 100 free spins. Your bonus credits and free spin winnings are then subject to a wagering requirement of 60x.

Not too bad, right? It would certainly be better to get that money at the time that you deposit, but in the long run, the end result is the same. Of course, if you turn that £100 deposit into a big win then you won’t get any additional bonus credits, but you also won’t be subject to a 60x wagering requirement, and you’ll have a big cash sum in your account. So, who cares?

The only thing I definitely don’t like about this bonus is that players who deposit using Skrill or Neteller are excluded. On the plus side, PayPal is completely fine and you can also use Apple Pay. Only a small percentage of players use Skrill or Neteller to deposit and all of them have access to alternative methods, so it shouldn’t be a big problem.

It’s worth noting that this refund bonus only applies to players in the United Kingdom. Elsewhere on the site, it’s made clear that European players can collect it as a matched deposit bonus while South African players are given a no-deposit bonus.
