Panda Bingo is part of the Grace Media roster of casinos. It embraces new players with a big welcome package bonus, offers a mixture of bingo games and slot machines, and keeps things interesting with occasional reload offers. There are a few downsides, though, and I’ll address everything in this Panda Bingo review.

Welcome Bonus

The Panda Bingo welcome offer is a big one on paper, but it’s worth looking at the small print before you dive in.

New players who deposit £10 or more and select the offer from the cashier’s drop-down menu can claim a 300% slots bonus worth up to £90, plus 20 bingo tickets for the Animingo room. In practice, that means a £10 deposit gets you £30 in bonus funds, while a £30 deposit (or more) unlocks the full £90. You’ll need to complete the usual age and address checks before any of this becomes active.

The slots bonus is limited to Pragmatic Play slot games and only kicks in once your cash balance hits £0. It carries a 35x wagering requirement on the bonus amount, and there’s a strict conversion cap: you can turn no more than £90 of bonus funds into withdrawable cash. So, if you collect the full £90 bonus, you’ll need to wager £3,150 before anything becomes real-money winnings, and even then, you can’t cash out more than £90 from the bonus. Only slot play counts toward these requirements—using bonus funds to buy bingo tickets will see any related winnings voided.

On top of that, you get 20 bingo tickets for Animingo, one of Panda Bingo’s cutest rooms. Tickets are priced between 5p and 12p and are valid for games running between 9am and 12pm and again from 7pm to 11pm daily. The tickets are usually credited within 72 hours of your first deposit, but you do need to opt in via the “Offers” section of the bingo lobby to claim them. Any winnings from these tickets are paid in cash and can be withdrawn as normal.

Animingo also plays host to a network feature called Pick a Pic, which pops up on selected games during those sessions. As long as you’ve bought at least six tickets for a marked Pick a Pic game, you’ll get to choose an animal to reveal a prize—which could be a cash reward or, occasionally, nothing at all. It’s a fun little extra, but like the main bonus, it’s still subject to the usual terms and conditions.

Loyalty Bonuses

You have a few loyalty bonuses to choose from on Panda Bingo.

The biggest of these is the Weekly Real Money Cash Back. It gives you 10% cash back worth up to £25 every Friday, and it applies to all weekly losses accrued to that point. You’ll need to qualify for returns greater than £5, though, so you won’t get anything if your losses are less than £50.

A few other bonuses available for regular Panda Bingo players include:

• Bonus Calendar: You can pick up a bonus from the Bonus Calendar every day of the month. Just check the calendar to see what’s available on any given day, and be sure to read the terms and conditions.
• Flowers on Your Birthday: If your birthday is coming up, contact the customer support team to tell them. As long as you have deposited within the last 14 days, you’ll qualify for a giveaway of a free bouquet of flowers worth £40. You’ll need to check the “Post” option in your marketing preferences to receive the flowers, and they are only sent to 5 random players.
• Guaranteed Jackpots: Some of the site’s bingo rooms offer sizable jackpots, guaranteed for at least a specific sum.

Slots and Bingo Games

The bingo games on Panda Bingo run every couple of minutes. In fact, at the time of writing this Panda Bingo review, there were several games running every minute.

Rooms like Heavy Weight, Super Heavy Weight, and Royal Room run games more irregularly, but the jackpots are much higher, typically in the thousands of pounds. Despite this, the ticket prices are still reasonable, with Heavy Weight and Super Heavy Weight both available for 25p each.

Other games can be played for just a penny per ticket, but it’s a large site connected to an even bigger network, so there are usually hundreds of players in the bigger rooms and dozens in the smaller ones, ensuring you always have a shot at a worthwhile prize. There are also several progressive jackpots that can be claimed under specific circumstances, such as claiming a Full House within a specific number of balls.

It’s one of the best bingo rooms I’ve seen in a while, and that isn’t the only benefit, as Panda Bingo also has stacks of slot machines.

These games come from Pragmatic Play, Playtech, and Blueprint Gaming, as well as smaller developers like Eyecon. It offers many of the country’s most popular slots and game franchises, including most games from the Fluffy Favourites series, as well as about a dozen games from Big Bass. I’m not really a big fan of either of these, but I seem to be the exception, and if you like them, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

There were also plenty of games to keep me busy, despite my picky preferences. It adds new slots all of the time, including over a dozen recently-added titles at the time of this review, and the inclusion of Blueprint Gaming, NetEnt, and Red Tiger kept me satisfied.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Withdrawals are pretty slow on Panda Bingo, which is one of the biggest downsides. It can take up to 48 hours for them to process your funds, and up to 5 days for them to clear after that point.

The site accepts PayPal, debit cards, instant bank transfers, and Trustly. In addition to the slow withdrawals, there is one other major issue—deposit fees. You will be charged 15% per transaction on all deposits of between £10 and £30. Withdrawals under £30 are also subject to a fee of £1.50.

I’m not a fan of transaction fees at the best of times, but these are very high, and they apply to very low amounts, so they seem unnecessarily harsh. It’s even worse when you consider that the welcome bonus is clearly targeted toward small-stake casual players, and they are the ones who will take the biggest hit here.

Verdict: Panda Bingo Review

Panda Bingo is a great site with an excellent choice of games and bonuses, but the transaction fees are a big issue. They unfairly target small-stake players and will be a turn off for most of them. It’s not quite enough to deter me from using the site, but it would make me think twice if I were considering depositing less than £30.
