BingoPlus launched in 2023 and positioned itself as a live bingo operator. It runs daily live bingo games that are streamed to devices in players’ homes, as well as touchscreen terminals installed in bingo clubs, arcades, and other venues across the United Kingdom. It’s a little different from some of the other bingo sites I have reviewed recently, and if you’re new to live online bingo and enjoy live casino games, you could be in for a treat.

Whilst the bonus amount is modest, it’s worth noting that the wagering requirement is only 1x and the bonus can be yours for a deposit of just £5.

I couldn’t find many reload promotions on BingoPlus, but it does have occasional special events and games. It’s to be expected, as it operates more like a traditional bingo room than an online bingo site.

Bingo Games and Slots

BingoPlus is a live bingo site, which means its games operate a lot like live casino game shows. They stream from morning until night and use real presenters, so there’s always someone engaging the players and keeping things interesting.

There are 80 and 90-ball bingo games running throughout the day, and as these games connect across a wide network, one that includes members playing at home and players connecting through terminals, there are always huge prizes on offer.

The biggest of these games are The National Bingo Game, one of the country’s longest-running games, with a history that dates back several decades. The grand prize in this game is £50,000, and there are two scheduled every day at 2 PM and 10 PM.

BingoPlus is a live bingo site, first and foremost, but it also hosts a variety of online slots to keep you busy between bingo games. These games are cherry-picked classics popular with UK players, including Megaways slots like Big Bass Bonanza Megaways and Fluffy Favourites Megaways, as well as dozens of titles from Slingo, NetEnt, and Blueprint Gaming, among others.

Deposits, Withdrawals, and Customer Support

There is a minimum deposit and withdrawal of £5 on BingoPlus, but I wouldn’t recommend withdrawing any less than £10 if you can help it, as you’ll be charged a £3 administration fee. I have spoken at length about my distaste of withdrawal fees in the past, including the fixed £2.50 fee on Jumpman Gaming casinos like Lights! Camera! Bingo. I can’t tar BingoPlus with the same brush, though, as most sites won’t let you withdraw less than £10 without contacting customer support first, and BingoPlus doesn’t charge a fee for amounts larger than this.

Incidentally, the UK Gambling Commission states that all players must be allowed to withdraw their balance, even if it’s lower than the site’s stated amount. But it also states that fees can be charged when the withdrawal falls below this threshold, and it’s okay for such a transaction to be initiated by personal request. At least BingoPlus is open with it and not dragging you through a customer support merry-go-round.

BingoPlus has a live chat option if you have an issue during any part of the deposit or withdrawal process. It will connect you to a chatbot in the first instance, as seems to be the norm these days, but you can eventually connect to a real person if the AI just sends you in frustrating circles. There is also an FAQ, but this is more or less empty at the time of writing and contains only the most basic information.

Verdict: BingoPlus Review

I don’t think BingoPlus were the first to think of the live bingo concept. There are bingo-like live casino games in the Evolution Gaming catalogue among others, and you can also find them on sites like Buzz Bingo. However, it’s one of the few that has wholly committed to the concept, as well as the one that offers the biggest games, including The National Bingo Game.

I also like the fact that it’s based in Yorkshire. Not only because I grew up in the county (albeit a long way from BingoPlus HQ in Hull) but because it means it’s a fully British brand and not one that bases operations in Gibraltar, Cyprus, or Malta, as is the case with most other sites.

The bonuses could be better, but if you think of BingoPlus as being an extension of your local bingo club, one that you can play as and when you want, that becomes less of a problem. It’s also accessible thanks to its low minimum deposit, varied selection of payment methods, and live chat support.
