Lights! Camera! Bingo is a Jumpman Gaming bingo site that it very loosely themed around the Golden Age of Hollywood. And I mean “loosely”, because other than the camera in its logo and a colour scheme that could possibly have something to do with Hollywood (purple is Hollywood, right?), there’s really nothing to go on.
Then again, it makes more sense than the approach that Dino Bingo took, which was to illustrate a dinosaur egg, add the word “Jurassic” to a few incomprehensible sentences, and then call it a day.
Despite a lacklustre approach to its theme, Lights! Camera! Bingo is a very attractive and well-designed site. It’s not cluttered, it doesn’t look dated, and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. In the end, that’s really all that matters.
As a Jumpman Gaming site, Lights! Camera! Bingo is licensed by the authorities of the United Kingdom and Alderney and works with a host of gambling organisations, maintaining a strong commitment to safe, fair, and responsible gambling.
With a deposit of £10 or more, all new players can spin the Mega Wheel and win a variety of prizes, including Free Spins and Amazon vouchers. You can also spin the wheel with each additional deposit of £20 or more, but this doesn’t apply if you have an active bonus or a pending withdrawal.
Amazon vouchers are sent straight to the email you used to register. As for ‘Free Spins’, any cash won during these spins is subject to a wagering requirement of 65x.
If you prefer, you can collect 20 Spins as part of a No Deposit Bonus. You don’t need to deposit but you do need to sign up, verify your account, and add a valid debit card. By that time, you’re basically ready to deposit anyway, in which case the other bonus is much better.
If you do opt for the No Deposit Bonus, you’ll be limited to a maximum win of £16 (£8 per 10 spins) on Fluffy Favourites and all winnings are subject to 65x wagering requirements.
There are 13 promotions at Lights! Camera! Bingo at the time of writing. I have mentioned a couple of these already, and most of the others are available across the Jumpman Gaming network, including:
- Friday Fun: Every Friday you can win a share of £2,500. Log in on Friday night and sit down for some high-stakes bingo action!
- Trophies: One of the biggest promotions at Lights! Camera! Bingo is a Loyalty Program that presents you with a series of challenges and rewards you when you complete them. Get enough of these and you’ll collect some big prizes and rewards.
- Birthday Bonus: Every year on your birthday, Lights! Camera! Bingo gives you a bundle of Free Spins.
- Winner Winner Chicken Dinner: The biggest single spin winner of the month gets a £50 Just Eat voucher. Don’t get too excited though, as the winning amount is usually over £30,000, at which point you won’t care much about that Dominos feast!
Check the promotions page after joining to see what you can qualify for and what to focus on after your Welcome Bonus. You should also drop by every couple of weeks or so. They don’t change that often, so you don’t need to make it a daily thing and while Lights! Camera! Bingo will hate me for saying this, you don’t need to join their newsletter either.
Slots and Bingo Rooms
NetEnt, Playtech, Scientific Games, Blueprint Gaming—these are just a few of the big-name developers listed here. There are hundreds of slots in total and the list is being updated all of the time.
In fact, just before penning this Lights! Camera! Bingo review I wrote a list about the best new slots and upcoming slots and was surprised (and happy) to find that most of them were available here.
On the bingo side of things, you have a dozen rooms to choose from, including 80-Ball Bingo, Boombox Bingo, and Beachball Blast Bingo.
To be honest, it’s pretty much the same selection as Star Wins and Casper Games, both of which position themselves as slot sites and not bingo sites. I’m surprised that Lights! Camera! Bingo doesn’t do the same, but maybe Lights! Camera! Slots didn’t have the same ring to it.
Depositing and Withdrawing
The most popular payment methods at Lights! Camera! Bingo include PayPal and debit cards. You’ll need to add a card for the latter (credit cards are not allowed in the UK) and connect your PayPal account for the former. In both cases, you’ll need to pay £2.50 when you make a withdrawal using these methods, or any methods for that matter.
The minimum deposit is £10 and this is also the minimum for the Welcome Bonus, but you’ll need to bump it up to £20 for the additional Mega Wheel spins.
Lights! Camera! Bingo accepts Pay by Mobile, as well. It’s an interesting concept as it essentially lets you deposit using your mobile phone contract, but it’s also deeply flawed and should only be seen as the last resort option.
Not only is it only available for deposits (which means you’ll need to add another method anyway if you want to withdraw) but you’ll be hit with a £2.50 transaction fee on deposits of £5 to £20. It also has very low limits when compared to alternative methods.
Call me cynical, but didn’t the gambling industry ban credit card payments, and wasn’t the intention to prevent people from adopting a “bet now, worry later” attitude?
Pay by Mobile lets you play with “credit” that you cover at a later date. It charges you a fee every time you deposit, and it’s not available for withdrawals. Maybe I’m missing something, but that sounds like a credit card to me.
Lights! Camera! Bingo Review Summary
Lights! Camera! Bingo is not as big of a bingo site as Foxy Bingo and it’s not as committed on the slot side of things as William Hill Casino. It’s somewhere in the middle, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
There are stacks of bingo games, hundreds of slots, and plenty of bonuses as well. It’s one of the better Jumpman Gaming sites out there, but it still charges for withdrawals and it lacks the size and coherency of many bigger and more established sites.
Still, if you’re looking for a new bonus and a few quick gaming sessions, I’d recommend signing up.
- Big Welcome Bonus
- Multiple Payment Options
- Good Selection of Games
- Several Major Bingo Jackpots
- PayPal Accepted
- Withdrawal Fee
- Similar to Other Jumpman Sites
- Not as Big or Impressive as Rivals
