Benefits of Playing at a New Bingo Site
Some people remain loyal to just one brand, and don’t see the value in trying new options. After all, why would they consider playing at a new bingo site when there are so many reputable brands with years of experience? It’s a valid question, and I will do my best to answer it below.
In 2025, the UK online gambling industry is more competitive than ever. The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC), the regulatory body that oversees all UK-focusing online gambling operations, have brought in far stricter measures over the last few years and this has had a significant impact on the profitability of bingo sites.
For this reason, as well as market saturation, the industry has descended into a “dog eat dog” world, where the sites are all fighting to get the attention – and ultimately the money – of players.
While this may sound like undesirable behaviour, it offers a surprisingly lucrative opportunity for savvy bingo players. In an effort to attract customers, new bingo sites will typically offer much better welcome bonuses than their more well-established competitors.
Often, new bingo sites will dedicate a significant portion of money to these offers. To them, it’s the cost of doing business, and is just one of the many expenses incurred in attracting new customers.
However, you’re not tied down to one site, so even if you’re a regular at a long-running domain, you’re still free to find new bingo sites, claim their above-average welcome bonus offers, and then repeat this process when your bonus has finished.
The savviest bingo player will also know that once they’ve signed up to a bingo site and enabled marketing communications, as time passes and an account remains inactive, the brand will likely offer a selection of enhanced incentives to entice the player back.
In a further effort to attract new customers, some new online bingo sites will also launch with state-of-the-art mobile apps, exclusive games, intuitive social/chat features, and other stand out.
Different Types of Sign-Up Deals
Now that we know new online bingo sites are offering big welcome bonuses, let’s take a look at some of the bonuses most commonly found on UK bingo sites.
No-Deposit Bonus
No-deposit bonuses are usually steeped in terms and conditions, have high wagering requirements, and are very rare. Even if you do find them, you may still encounter a few terms you weren’t expecting, including the fact that you have to add a valid debit card before collecting.
Many of Jumpman Gaming’s new bingo sites still offer no-deposit bonuses, but these are usually available for the slot machines only. Even if the site calls itself a bingo site, it will still have a lot of slots (as with Mirror Bingo and Lights! Camera! Bingo) and most of its promotions will be tired to these games.
Matched-Deposit Bonus
A matched deposit bonus is where a new online bingo site will match – usually by 100% – your first deposit. There will always be a cap on the bonus amount. So, an offer of “100% up to £100. Min £10″ means that every pound between £10 and £100 will be doubled, and every amount over £100 will receive £100 in additional bonus credits.
These offers are more common on slot sites than bingo sites, and when they are included, they tend to be phrased in a different way, such as “Deposit and Spend £10 and Play with £30”. In this case, it functions like a 200% matched deposit bonus, with the added requirement of needing to wager that deposit amount.
Free Spins Without a Deposit
While no-deposit free spins aren’t as common as they used to be, a number of new bingo sites do still offer them. Jumpman Gaming is a great example of one of the few companies that do. A limited number of their brands offer 20 free spins on selected slot games with no deposit required.
As the term suggests, free spins without requiring a deposit mean you can join a new bingo site and claim free spins without spending any money. However, wagering requirements are incredibly high (65x at most Jumpman Gaming sites), max cash-out rules always apply, and you will have to input valid debit card details.
Most bingo brands, Jumpman Gaming sites included, fall into the next category.
Free Spins With Deposit
This one is fairly self-explanatory, as it references free spin promotions that you can only collect when you make a qualifying deposit. These spins are obviously tied to slot games and have nothing to do with bingo rooms, but you will find a modest selection of slots on most UK bingo sites.
Some bingo sites will require you to play through your deposit before the spins are credited to your account, but that’s not true for all of them.
On Jumpman Gaming sites, for example, you can often collect anywhere from 20 to 500 free spins on popular slot games like Eyecon’s Fluffy Favourites or Play’n Go’s Book of Dead, but this only applies when you have made deposit of at least £10.
Free Bingo Tickets
Free bingo tickets were once offered by most big-name operators, but they are a rare find in 2025. You can find a few of them being offered independent, proprietary sites, though.
Some bingo sites will offer you a number of free bingo tickets just for signing up, while others will require you to make a deposit first.
Claiming Welcome Bonuses at UK Bingo Sites
Welcome bonus offers at new bingo sites are, generally speaking, fairly easy to claim. Any bonus options will be displayed when you’re in the process of making a deposit; you can then choose to accept or decline the bonus.
As a side note, many of the new online bingo site offers you’ll come across will require you to enter your payment details (usually a debit card) before any winnings from the bonuses can be withdrawn.
We should also point out that, due to those UKGC regulations we talked about earlier, all bingo sites are now required to verify your age and identity before giving away any free bingo tickets, free spins or other offers. This rule came into force on the 7th May, 2019 and applies to all online gambling sites operating within the UK.
Larger bingo sites have secured contracts with credit score agencies so you can complete this process automatically, but be aware that some smaller sites – without the deep pockets required to use such a service – may ask you to upload proof of your name and address. It can take a couple of days for these documents to be checked.
Why Are So Many Bingo Sites So Similar?
If you’ve ever played online bingo at more than one site, there’s a good chance you’ll have noticed that many bingo sites look almost identical – with the exception of a different colour scheme and logo. You’re not going crazy, and it’s thanks to what’s known as “white-label services”.
The term “white label” is incredibly common in the online gambling world, and it’s essentially a route to market which brings together a licensed operator and most often a marketing company.
For example, Jumpman Gaming, one of the biggest bingo site operators, provides a white-label solution that allows marketers to launch their own bingo site using the Jumpman software. This is exactly the reason why so many new bingo sites appear; it doesn’t cost much to start a white-label site. Making a success of it and remaining in business for the long term is a separate issue.
White-label sites are attractive for reasons other than costs, too. The process of applying for an online gambling license from the UKGC is painstakingly long and can cost tens – if not hundreds – of thousands of pounds. White-label bingo sites “piggyback” off of the company license they’re using.
For example, if you view the UKGC’s licensee list for Jumpman Gaming, you’ll see a list of over 200 white-label bingo sites. All of these companies operate under Jumpman Gaming – sharing the same online gambling license, using the same technology, and featuring almost exactly the same web design.
Jumpman Gaming isn’t the only company to offer white-label bingo sites, either. There are several others out there, and there have been many more in the past. The gambling industry has undergone a major change in the last few years, though, and we’re seen several operators, platforms, and service providers disappear.
In 2023, for instance, we discussed how one of the industry’s most promising brands lost its license, and in 2024, we talked about the issues facing Dragonfish.
What’s New in Online Bingo/What Has Changed in 2026?
2025 was a tough year for many businesses, and that includes online gambling companies.
A number of regulatory measures have been introduced over the last couple of years, and these have made life harder for casinos and operators. They include restrictions on the speed of slot spins, as well as stake limits that drastically reduce how much players can wager on a single slot spin.
Restrictions are nothing new, of course. Five years ago, we were discussing several major changes that included a ban on credit card gambling. But recent changes seem to be hitting the industry harder than previous ones, and it’s tough to predict where things will go from here.
Stricter Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks have also been shaking things up, with regulators placing a greater onus on operators to confirm who their players are and to make sure they are spending money that is theirs to spend and that they can afford to lose.
Operators must now complete a Source of Wealth (SOW) request once a player reaches a certain financial limit (usually with deposits, but sometimes, with withdrawals). This puts the onus on the player to prove where their funds are coming from in an effort to stamp-out money-laundering and prevent players from spending more than they can afford to lose.
All things considered, it’s a wonder why online gambling is still on the rise in the UK.
The Future of New UK Bingo Sites UK: What Can We Expect in 2026 and beyond?
For operators and those in the business, the future of the bingo industry looks to hold many different challenges. Due to the regulations brought in by the UKGC, it seems as though the small, independent bingo sites are set to take the brunt of the financial impact – although even big-name brands are likely to continue to be affected.
In a desperate effort to cut back on costs, we may see some big changes being employed across the industry.
For instance, we’re already seeing phone support lines being removed from online casinos and bingo sites. Live chat usually stands in, and as this is 2025, that inevitably means that most support teams are now staffed by AI. The technology is better than it used to be, but that’s no good to you if you’re trying to get a point across and find yourself stuck in a loop with an AI bot that can’t listen to sense and won’t put you in touch with a real human.
Those that do survive may well look to continue developing new technologies.
There was a lot of talk of virtual reality (VR) bingo a few years back, but this didn’t materialise into anything substantial or worthwhile. Just like the 3D TVs that promised to change our lives over a decade ago, right before everyone lost interest and they disappeared, it seems that VR hasn’t found a truly universal appeal, and I doubt that bingo will be the missing piece of the puzzle.
We’re also probably going to see a lot of smaller white-label brands shutting up shop. We’ve seen this happen already over the past year. The players are there. There is money to be made. But it’s becoming increasingly difficult for smaller brands to navigate the many regulations while also competing with brands that have seemingly infinite marketing budgets and can afford to hire massive compliance teams.
Here at Bingo Paradise, we’re putting our money on seeing operators continuing to develop and improve their mobile gaming technology. Research shows that players are increasingly looking to play bingo – and other gambling products – from their mobile devices, and we’re seeing bingo sites and game developers take note.
We also expect to see more jackpot bingo games make their way into online bingo halls; again, these are proving incredibly popular with players, and we’re seeing it in online video slots, too. It’s clear players want the potential to win huge, life-changing sums of money – and many software developers and online gambling operators are more than happy to oblige.
New Independent Bingo Sites
Today, truly independent (non-white label) new bingo sites are as rare as they come – and in such a cut-throat industry, there are very few who’d have the guts to invest the hundreds of thousands – or millions – into developing a proprietary bingo platform.
There are, however, a few independent sites, with Tombola being the best-known example. Known for their prolific TV Ad campaigns throughout the UK, Tombola has always placed an emphasis on responsible gambling, and they cap the amount of money you can spend on their games at £1 on any one wager (i.e. spin in the case of slot games). They’re also a very reputable company, honouring withdrawals quickly and offering a well-above-average customer support portal.
Other independent bingo sites include MrQ. This indie brand has developed their own bingo software from scratch, and has done exceptionally well, relying on aggressive marketing tactics, generous welcome bonus offers and state-of-the-art games and software to attract – and retain – customers.
It’s a real shame that we’re not seeing more new, independent bingo sites enter the market – but it’s something that’s not exclusive to online bingo. The online casino industry has been decimated just as badly as the online bingo sector – and many operators are simply choosing to exit the UK market altogether, choosing an easier-to-acquire and less strict license, such as ones issued from the Maltese Gaming Authority.
Who is Behind New Sites in 2026?
Jumpman Gaming continues to lead in the online bingo industry in terms of new site volumes, and they’ve pushed out several new white-label and in-house bingo sites during 2026. While these sites offer little variety from one another, it helps the operator to take control of an even larger market share, making it harder for smaller platforms to get a word in edgewise.
Hint: If you ever want to learn about the parent company of a bingo site, simply head to the site’s footer or check the privacy policy. You will find information about who the top-most company is. Failing this, you can also click the UKGC’s seal or a bingo site’s license number to be taken to their license page on the Gambling Commission’s website. Here, you’ll be able to see who the master license holder is.
