Spectra Bingo is a bingo and slot site from the Broadway Group. The site has been around for a few years and was originally owned by 888, only for the triple-8 brand to be taken over by its current owners. It has a simple pink and white aesthetic and works on mobile as well as desktop. However, the desktop site isn‘t very dynamic and pretty much had a fit when I tried to resize windows and then work in dual screen. Needless to say, it feels a little neglected and it’s clear that the developers focused more on the mobile side of things when setting this one up.
I have reviewed a number of casinos owned by this brand, ranging from the fantastic Wink Bingo to the solid Costa Bingo and the disappointing Dino Bingo. So, where does Spectra Bingo fit into all of that and how does it compare to its sister sites?
Spectra Bingo has a welcome package bonus targeted at all new players who sign up and deposit £10 or more. Meet this requirement and you’ll be given a 200% boost in bingo credits (maximum of £30) and 30 free spins. The spins are valid for 3 days and all winnings they produce have a wagering requirement of 35x.
The bingo bonus also has a wagering requirement, but at just 4x, it’s much more reasonable.
Spectra Bingo keeps loyal players incentivised by offering regular loyalty promotions, including free spins, reload promotions, and more. It doesn’t seem as expansive in this area as Wink Bingo, but there is certainly enough to make things interesting.
Free bingo games are available sporadically and there are lots of jackpot games too. It’s another layer, another incentive, and it’s one that actually focuses on bingo. Many “bingo” sites take the easy route by focusing all of their promotions on slot machines. Spectra Bingo actually puts bingo front and centre, and while it does have a number of slot promotions, they don’t overshadow the bingo offers.
Games and Software
Spectra Bingo has games of 90, 75, and 52-ball bingo, among others. It’s a good mix and it’s all available on a substantial platform, ensuring that you’re never stuck playing games with just a couple of other players and always have big prizes to play for.
The site is powered by Dragonfish—if the name isn’t familiar, don’t worry, as the layout most certainly will be. It’s a platform that has been used for countless gaming sites over the years, including some of the industry’s biggest and best.
You don’t need to download anything to play these games and that applies whether you’re playing on desktop or mobile, the latter of which offers the best experience.
In addition to its bingo games, Spectra Bingo has a few hundred slot machines. At around 500, it’s not the biggest selection around, and it’s also dominated by classic titles that experienced players may be sick of by now, but the same could be said for countless other sites. Also, it doesn’t matter how many slots you’ve played and how long you’ve been around this industry, you’re still sure to find something you like with such a large selection on offer.
Spectra Bingo has fast cash-outs for all players and it accepts a few different methods, including PayPal and debit cards. You must be verified before you make your first deposit, which entails completing a quick credit check. It’s standard procedure, so don’t get angry at the site, but prepare for some additional ID requests if the initial check fails.
The minimum deposit with most payment methods is just £10 and phone deposits are also available if you live in 1996. The terms and conditions state that withdrawals can take several business days, even with PayPal, but in my experience, they are very rarely that slow.
These days, thanks to Faster Payment systems and the ease of web wallets, there is no excuse to keep players waiting for their funds and Spectra Bingo rarely does that.
The minimum withdrawal amount is just £5 and should apply for all methods. It’s very low, especially at a time when other sites seem to be increasing their limits.
Verdict: Spectra Bingo Review
The strawberries and cream colour scheme is a little too bright and peppy for my liking, but this is an online bingo site, not a Misfits blog, so I suppose that’s to be expected. The desktop site could use a little work (although you shouldn’t have any issues if you play on mobile) and I would have liked to see more games and more variety.
At the beginning of this review, I mentioned some of Spectra Bingo’s sister sites and questioned where it would fit. Personally, I think it’s more like Dino Bingo than Wink Slots and I would always recommend the latter over this. But it’s a solid effort, and if nothing else, it’s worth the welcome bonus and a few hours of gameplay.

Spectra Bingo FAQ
How Can I Contact Spectra Bingo?
Live chat is the best way to get in touch with Spectra Bingo. You can also call them directly at 0800 901 2510. An email address has been provided as well, but it connects to a generic domain and support team. In my experience, they can be very frustrating to deal with. The last time I had to message one of them it took several emails before I realised they didn’t even know which casino I was talking about.
Does 888 Own Spectra Bingo?
No, but it used to. All of 888’s bingo sites were picked up by the Broadway Group in a recent acquisition.
Do I Need to Download Anything?
No, Spectra Bingo is instant play, so it should work through your browser.
How Many Games Does Spectra Bingo Have?
The bulk of its games are slot machines and there are over 500 of these to choose from. It also has numerous bingo rooms. Although there are bigger gaming sites out there, it’s still a huge roster and it covers most themes and features.
