Bingo Paradise Rating

Wink Bingo is a huge UK bingo brand that has dominated our TV screens for more than a decade. Best-known for the irritatingly good earworm, “B.I.N.G.O”, recorded to the sound of “D.I.S.C.O” by Ottawan, and for sponsoring The Only Way is Essex and Harry Hill’s TV Burp, Wink Bingo launched back in 2008 and was acquired by 888 Holdings Plc a year later.

The site adopts a classic Pop Art theme, taking inspiration from the work of Roy Lichtenstein, and while its aesthetic is not exactly unique, it makes for a very attractive layout and an instantly recognisable style.

You see a well-dressed Northern fox in a smart suit, you know it’s Foxy; nonsensical taglines and half-hearted dinosaurs? It’s probably Dino Bingo. Comic book visuals with a cool 1950s vibe? That’s Wink Bingo.

Surprisingly, it’s a style that Wink Slots (Wink Bingo’s sister site) completely overlooks, opting instead for a deep purple aesthetic. The regulator, software, and payment options are the same though and, as you’ll see in this review, Wink Bingo has many of the same great features and bonuses as well.

Who doesn’t love free Bingo Games?

Welcome Offer

Wink Bingo has a great 100% Bonus welcome offer.£10 Deposit is required, and WINK100 is the promo code you need to use. The bonus comes as 100% games bonus. The bonus need to be claimed and used within 7 days.

The wagering requirements are 30x for the games bonus, and this must be fulfilled before requesting a withdrawal of real money.

Promotions

Wink Bingo invites you to “shop ‘til you drop in Wink’s Shop” which is nowhere near as catchy as they probably think it is. This shop forms part of one of the industry’s best loyalty schemes, known as Wink Rewards.

You’ll earn points for completing Wink’s Daily Challenges, via Rewarding Wednesdays, and even at random. Every time you spend £1 playing bingo, you’ll get 1 Wink Reward point. The more of these you collect, the more rewards you can buy in the Shop, including all of the following:

  • Bingo Bonuses
  • Bingo Tickets
  • Free Spins
  • The Wink Wheel Spins
  • Games Bonuses
  • Jackpot Spins

And this is just one of Wink Bingo’s many bonuses! You can also get daily cashback of 3% up to £100. Just log in the day after you play, check the “My Wink” section, and see what cashback is waiting for you. This section will also give you some insight into the site’s other active promotions.

Slots and Bingo Rooms

Not only does Wink Bingo offer the usual selection of 90-Ball and 80-Ball games, along with a variety of jackpots, special games, and guaranteed prizes, but it also has a very large selection of free bingo games. You can join others and play for real money, with games including Free Sunday £250, £1k Freebie, Free Tenners, and more.

There are multiple games to play during the week and the prizes tend to be much bigger than you’ll find on other free bingo rooms.

As for the casino games, you can peruse a variety of jackpot slots, Megaways slots, table games, Live Casino games, and more. Evolution Gaming, Big Time Gaming, Scientific Games, Blueprint Gaming, NetEnt, and Red Tiger Gaming all add their talents to the mix and this makes for a diverse selection.

Depositing and Withdrawing

Wink Bingo accepts PayPal but there are a few caveats to this. You can’t use PayPal to make a deposit if your only funding source is a credit card. Credit card gambling was banned in the UK back in April 2020, and that covers pretty much all forms.

Your account will also need to be verified. If not, Wink Bingo may ask you to prove that you are the legitimate account holder.

It’s a security measure and it helps to prevent fraud and money laundering, as PayPal and gambling sites are pretty popular targets for criminals. Paysafecard is available as well and if you’re using an Apple device, you can use Apple Pay.

The minimum deposit is always £10 and while the Terms and Conditions don’t mention deposit limits, you might be hit with a limitation or a Source of Funds request if you deposit large amounts frequently.

One of the few downsides of Wink Bingo is that the withdrawals have a 2-day pending period. It’s not as long as some other sites, but it does mean you’ll be waiting an unnecessary amount of time to get your funds.

Your account will be verified automatically as soon as you join and if it can’t complete the process, you’ll need to submit additional documents, including a photo ID and a proof of address. Only when you provide these documents will you be given access to the site and allowed to make a deposit.

Because they get all of this out of the way early, it’s unlikely that you will be asked to verify your ID before you withdraw. However, such requests are possible as they may determine that additional security checks are necessary.

Wink Bingo Review Summary

In 2020, WhichBingo voted Wink Bingo as the “Best Dragonfish Bingo Site” for the fourth year running, and it’s easy to see why.

A lot of 888’s bingo and slot sites have a very similar look to them and there isn’t a great deal of variance with regards to the games or bonuses, either. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, as they clearly found a formula that works. But Wink Bingo doesn’t conform to any of that and it makes for a refreshing change.

There are more games, better bonuses, and a much better theme. Sites like Costa Bingo, although decent, simply can’t compare the Wink Bingo. That’s why it gets the top marks from me and it’s why I will be returning long after this review is published.

Wink Bingo FAQ

  • Is Wink Bingo Down?

During peak hours, it's not uncommon for Wink Bingo to be a little slow. I encountered this myself and it even timed out every now and then. It wasn't a huge issue, but I'm guessing that this question will come up a lot. If so, just bide your time, keep trying, and you will get through eventually.

  • Is Wink Bingo Safe?

It's one of the biggest and most trusted bingo brands in the United Kingdom. It's as safe as a gambling site can be!

  • What is the Wink Bingo Login?

Just visit the site and click "Login". If you're using a web browser, make sure you bookmark it to hasten those log ins.

  • What is the Wink Bingo Withdrawal Time?

It depends on the payment method. Generally, you will need to wait between 2 and 3 days to get your funds but this might extend to 5 or 6 with debit cards.

  • Can I Use a Credit Card at Wink Bingo?

If you are in the United Kingdom you will not be allowed to use a credit card to gamble at Wink Bingo. This is true even if the card is attached to a PayPal account.
