PlayFrank is an online casino named after everyone’s least favourite uncle. Launched by MadMen Limited, it is powered by Aspire Global and hosts a variety of slot machines and live casino games. The bonuses are excellent, the layout is easily navigable, albeit fairly unimpressive, and it has a fun colour scheme.

Welcome Bonus
Double up with your first deposit on PlayFrank. It’s a 100% first deposit match that tops out at £100 and comes with a minimum deposit of £20. So, £20 gets you £40; £50 gets you £100; £100 gets you £200, and any amount you deposit above £100 will return the £100 maximum in bonus credits. You’ll also get 50 free spins on Starburst, and these are credited instantly.
Free spin winnings and bonus credits come with a 35x wagering requirement, and you have just 24 hours to use your free spins.
These terms are relatively harmless, especially considering that many casinos now require a wagering requirement of 50x or more, but there is one term that’s more problematic. If you deposit using Skrill or Neteller, you will not be eligible for the offer. If you deposit using one of these methods, you can’t simply try again with another method, as that will not be your first deposit.
Loyalty Promotions
PlayFrank likes its network promotions, and so do I! At the time of writing, there are major events from Pragmatic Play and Play’n GO. There are reload promotions on most days of the week, as well, including free spin offers that give you spin bundles when you deposit above the minimum requirement.
Make sure you check the terms and conditions on these bonuses, as you could be caught short, especially if you typically deposit using Skrill or Neteller.
Check the “Daily Challenges” tab for even more action. You can choose which challenges to complete and will be rewarded when it’s done. If you finish all available challenges, you’ll get an even bigger prize. It’s a nice touch, a cool take on loyalty programs that doesn’t simply require you to deposit and wager large sums of money. It means that everyone can get something out of this program, regardless of how much they usually wager.
Table Games and Slots
I have reviewed casinos in all jurisdictions, and one of the things that has always bugged me is that UK players seem to get a raw deal when it comes to games rooms. There are non-UK sites with over 4,000 slots and countless table games, and we’re over here playing sites with a few hundred Games Global titles like it’s still 2005.
Thankfully, PlayFrank is one of the exceptions to this rule. It currently hosts nearly 2,300 slots, along with over a dozen live game shows. It does seem to be lacking in live table games—a few more variations of baccarat, blackjack, poker, and roulette wouldn’t go amiss, but it’s hard to overlook such a huge slot count.
Many of the slots and all of the live casino games come from the Evolution Gaming family of brands, including NetEnt and Red Tiger Gaming. Other developers include Play’n GO, Spinomenal, Wazdan, SYNOT, Games Global, and Yggdrasil.
Deposits, Withdrawals, and Customer Support
PlayFrank accepts a variety of payment options, including Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, and Neteller. There are a few issues here, though. Firstly, while I didn’t experience any issues on the site, there are a lot of negative reviews complaining about slow withdrawals and withdrawal fees. Both of these are very frustrating, and really shouldn’t exist in a modern casino. Most sites offer instant, fee-free withdrawals these days, but it seems that not everyone has jumped on the bandwagon.
Live chat is available around the clock, but there are also some worrying reports in this regard, with many players saying they didn’t get the assistance they needed. It happens, and a few bad experiences don’t make for a bad customer support team. But there may be some areas they can improve. If nothing else, the site could start responding to negative reviews and complaints left on third-party websites.
It’s also worth noting that user reviews aren’t all bad. It’s a mixed bag, and there are a lot of positive reviews out there, so don’t let this deter you.
Verdict: PlayFrank Review
PlayFrank is a good looking online casino with an incredible selection of slot machines and a good variety of table games. The welcome bonus is generous, too, and the wagering requirement isn’t too high. But despite all of that, there were some issues.
I would have preferred to see the PlayFrank support team responding to negative reviews and complaints on user-review sites, and based on what some other users are saying, they could use some improvements in the customer service department. Also, there is never a reason for a casino to charge a withdrawal fee or require players to wait for several days to get their funds.
Without these issues, it would have received a much higher rating from me.
