Bingo Paradise Rating

Yay Bingo calls itself the “most vibrant site around for all of your gaming needs”. Personally, I can’t use the word “yay” without a thick layer of sarcasm:

“My mother is coming to visit for Christmas. I said she can have the spare room and stay as long as she wants.”

“Oh…yay.”

Maybe that’s just me.

Beyond the name, the site is quite vibrant and looks like an explosion of confetti. It is operated by the Broadway Gaming Group, a name that I’ve been seeing a lot of in the last year and one that is responsible for countless sites, including Wink Bingo and 888Ladies.

Welcome Bonus

Broadway bingo sites rarely disappoint when it comes to welcome bonuses and Yay Bingo is no exception. When you deposit £10 or more you will be given 64 bingo tickets and 10 free spins.

60 of those tickets are for the Street Party game and are valid for 7 days. The other 4 are for Big Bang and can be used anytime within 30 days. The free spins are fixed to specific slots but the terms and conditions don’t say what that slot is, so it likely changes often. The spins are pretty useless though, as they have a £1 winnings cap. You also won’t get them until you have wagered at least £5 of your deposit.

Your deposit can be withdrawn at any time, and if you convert those bingo tickets or free spins into cash then you can withdraw that too. Yay Bingo is one of a growing number of bingo sites that is rejecting wagering requirements. It means that the bonuses aren’t the biggest or most impressive at first glance, but it makes a massive difference to how you use them and your chances of getting a return.

What’s more, as noted further down, the minimum withdrawal amount is just £5, so it’s not a stretch to think that you can turn those freebies into a genuine cash return and make a withdrawal.

Loyalty Promotions

The absence of wagering requirements doesn’t just apply to the welcome bonus. It’s true for all of the promotions on Yay Bingo, including a handful of tournaments and reload offers. It’s not on par with Jumpman Gaming casinos like Rocket Bingo when it comes to sheer size and variety, but there’s enough to keep you interested and the lack of withdrawal requirements should lead to fewer frustrating outcomes and—potentially—a higher return.

A few more promotions wouldn’t have gone a miss and it’s one of the areas that Yay Bingo could improve, but it’s far from terrible in this regard.

Bingo Games and Slots

With a number of 75-ball and 90-ball bingo rooms to choose from, and games running every few minutes, there’s always something to do here. The fact that it’s backed by a big network ensures there are plenty of players and prizes, and these are further supported by the occasional promotion and guaranteed prize pool.

If you want to take a break from bingo games, you can browse through over 500 slot games. Although it’s far from the biggest selection, it’s enough for most players. It seems to be heavily Microgaming-focused, as is often the case, but there are some other providers thrown in.

As with other sites operating under the Broadway banner, the bingo games are the stars of the show and the slots are really just an afterthought—something to keep you busy without really keeping you entertained.

Banking Options

Yay Bingo is on the slow side when it comes to withdrawals. It can take a few days to get your cash and even if you use PayPal, the casino advises that it could take up to 5 business days before the funds clear. You likely won’t need to wait that long, but a wait of more than a few hours is not acceptable in this day and age.

Payment options are also limited and you’re pretty much restricted to PayPal, Visa Debit, or Mastercard Debit.

On the plus side, you can withdraw as little as £5, which makes the lack of wagering requirements even more appealing and ensures you’re not constantly trying to squeeze out a few extra quid just so you can cash out.

Verdict: Yay Bingo Review

Yay Bingo is everything you would expect from a site that uses the Dragonfish software. It has a solid bingo offer, a lacklustre slot selection, and a few good promotions. The lack of wagering requirements elevates this bingo site over many of its competitors and it also helps that it offers phone support and live chat, as opposed to just contact forms, which are becoming the norm.

I would have liked to see more variety with the slots and more options for loyalty promotions, but it’s a good effort from a trusted provider and it ranks alongside other Broadway Gaming sites.
