Videoslots has been going strong since 2011, which is no mean feat in the online casino industry. This grandfather of iGaming operates under license from the UK Gambling Commission and has also acquired certification from the authorities of Sweden, Malta, Denmark, and Italy.
That might not sound like much, but it gives Videoslots access to a host of major gambling markets and has helped it to grow into one of Europe’s biggest brands. Also, if you thought the UK Gambling Commission were strict, they have nothing on the Swedes. It seems like every month they are fining companies for breaching bonus rules, breaking KYC protocols, and eating with their elbows on the table.
Seriously, those guys are harsh (they’re kinda my heroes), so kudos to any site that can hold a license there.
The Videoslots Welcome Bonus offers a 100% matched bonus up to £200 for all new players. The wagering requirement is a low 35x and you will qualify with a deposit of just £10.
To activate, simply click the link in this review, sign up, make your deposit, and then unlock the bonus in the “My Bonuses” section of your account.
The bonus is paid in increments of 10%, so you’ll need to meet those wagering requirements first, but it works out the same in the long run.
Videoslots has a few Loyalty Promotions to keep things interesting when the Welcome Bonus expires. These include Free Spin offers, real money tournaments, and a Weekend Boost reload promotion. Check with the promotions page to learn about the latest offers and make sure you get what you’re entitled to.
The real money tournaments are some of the best promotions here. These events are seriously underused in the online gambling sector and should feature on way more sites than they do.
Simply put, these tournaments give you a chance to scale a leaderboard and win prizes just for playing the games that you love. Most of them have a bias toward bigger spenders, as they focus on total wagers or total wins, but some use win ratios to give everyone a chance of success.
The prize pools for these tournaments vary, but the smaller ones offer up to 500 Free Spins and run many times a day while the bigger ones have 5- and 6-figure prize pools.
Slots and Bingo Rooms
There are currently 5,146 games in the Videoslots games room. It’s a monster selection of titles, and I’m fairly confident that it’s the biggest I’ve seen.
Size isn’t everything (or so I’ve been told) but when you have such a huge selection of slots, table games, and Live Casino games to peruse, it’s hard not to get excited. I was also a little daunted, as the site seems to work with every developer going, so there’s a lot to sift through.
Some of the biggest names here include:
- Play’n GO
- Blueprint Gaming
- Pragmatic Play
- Evolution Gaming
Not all of these will be available to you, as there may be country restrictions, but you can still take your pick from thousands of games. When you consider that the average UK online casino works with a roster of between 400 and 1,000 titles, that’s immense.
Unlike Bonus Boss and 888 Casino, it doesn’t have much in the way of in-house and exclusive games, but it doesn’t need them. Even if it did have a few exclusive titles, they would just get lost in the bedlam of jackpots, Megaways, Cascading Reels, and the steady influx of new slots.
One of my favourite features here is the Payout section, where you can sort slots by the highest payouts and then spin the ones at the top of the list.
Depositing and Withdrawing
Your first withdrawal per day is completely free at Videoslots. That shouldn’t be as big of a deal as it is, but there are many sites out there that will charge you £2.50 per withdrawal regardless of the amount or method (see Rose Slots and Online Slots UK). You will incur a £2.50 fee if you make any additional withdrawals, but the first one is free, and there’s really no need to make more than 1 per day.
Now for the issues.
Videoslots accepts Visa and MasterCard for deposits, but states that it can’t withdraw to these methods in the UK. I have no idea why, but it’s likely something to do with the casino’s payment processor, Wirecard.
You can use PayPal, though, and Videoslots also accepts ecoPayz, Klarna, PaysafeCard, Neteller, Apple Pay, and a few others.
Video Slots Review Summary
The Videoslots website is not exactly easy on the eye. It’s busy, and not in a good way. There’s just far too much happening here, as you can see from the image posted above. It does look a little less cluttered on mobile, but it wasn’t the best experience on desktop.
Putting that minor issue to one side, there’s a lot to like about Videoslots. It has a seemingly endless roster of games, multiple payment options, complete mobile support, and lots of bonuses.
It also has Live Chat and phone support. What’s not to like?
- Big Welcome Bonus
- Over 5,000 Games
- Live Casino
- Huge Number of Developers
- Great Support Options
- Not the Best Looking
