TradaCasino is an online casino incorporated in Denmark, where the word “trada” apparently means “trade”. I’d love to tell you that I knew that, but my understanding of Danish is limited to asking for directions to the nearest restaurant and ordering a hamburger (which would be great, if not for the fact that I’m a vegetarian who never leaves the house).

Anyway, enough of my Nordic noir obsession and the strange direction it took—I’m here to review!

The brand owners, Reward Group ApS, might not be familiar to you, but the gaming provider, AG Communications, probably will be. Better known as Aspire Global, these guys have their fingers in many pies, including King Casino.

The question is, how does Trada Casino compare to other top online casinos from this operator and competing developers? And will I ever make it past level 5 of the Pimsleur Danish course and actually learn something usual?

Welcome Bonus

The current TradaCasino welcome bonus has been around for a couple of years at the time of writing. I know that because the page that advertises the bonus still calls it the “TradaCasino 2021 deposit bonus”. It’s giving me vibes of “retail blog that hasn’t been updated for 4 years and will almost certainly deter me from ordering”. But it’s a little less egregious than that, so I’ll give it a pass.

It’s a multi-tier bonus that begins with a 100% match of up to £50 on all deposits of £10 or more. The wagering requirement is very reasonable at 35x, but the £100 cash-out limit is less generous. If you collect the maximum bonus amount, it means you can’t win more than 2x the sum.

I understand that winning caps are fairly common—if incredibly annoying—but this one is too low for my liking. This term also seems to apply to all bonuses and not just the welcome bonus, although it’s subject to change and you should check the T&Cs before you opt-in just to make sure.

Once you have finished with the first deposit offer, a second deposit of £20 or more will give you 50 free spins on NetEnt’s Starburst. The spins have a value of 10p each, and all of your winnings are subject to the same wagering requirement and win cap.

If you stick around by the time you’ve finished with the second bonus, you can get the same bundle of 50 free spins on your third and fourth deposits. Again, you must deposit £20 or more to qualify and are subject to the aforementioned rules.

Winnings cap aside, it’s a very good bonus. It’s refreshing to see such a low wagering requirement, especially as it only applies to the bonus amount/free spin winnings and isn’t doubled up by also applying to your deposit.

Other Promotions

TradaCasino keeps things interesting with a scattering of real money tournaments, giveaways, and other promotions—some offered by the site, some offered as part of network promotions. At the time of writing, for instance, there is a tournament with a £35,000 prize pool, with the top 300 finishers walking away with a prize.

There are also Drops & Wins courtesy of Pragmatic Play—currently offering over £2 million in monthly prizes—and daily free spins. 

The promotions section is usually packed, and there is typically some offer to collect or promotion to join every day of the week and every time you deposit.

Slots and Other Games

TradaCasino has a large selection of online slots and table games from providers like Pragmatic Play. These are presented against a simple backdrop, with a few easy-to-use categories and filters. The site also claims that if you like a particular slot and can’t find it, they would be happy to help you out.

I’d be interested in testing that particular promise, though I don’t think my request of “delete all copies of Fluffy Favourites and pretend it never existed” will be heeded.

The site’s games work on mobile and desktop and they are all instant play, so you don’t need to download anything and can play through your web browser or mobile browser.

Verdict: TradaCasino Review

TradaCasino is a very simply designed site, but I feel like I’m saying that a lot these days. Sites like Foxy Games and bet365 are the exception, not the rule. However, the simplicity is spot-on. It isn’t frustrating to use and it doesn’t feel like it was made using free web development software from 2001—I wish I could say the same for all “modern” online casinos.

The games are good, the loyalty promotions are excellent, and while I am not happy with the winnings cap, the welcome bonus is actually decent.

Also, it gave me a chance to test my mediocre Danish. And on that note, I’ll leave you with a thought-provoking Danish proverb: hvor er toilettet?
