Bingo Paradise Rating

Unfortunately, EneryCasino is no longer accepting UK players.

On 12/09/22, we received a message from our point of contact at the brand, part of which we’ve pasted below:

“We would like to inform you that as per a business decision following the current market changes in the UK, EnergyCasino and EnergyBet will cease their operations in the United Kingdom.

Please be advised that as of 13/09/2022, customers from the United Kingdom will be unable to register on EnergyCasino and EnergyBet.”

We’ll leave the review content below in place for the time being, but will no longer be providing updates to this page as of 08/10/22.

Energy Casino is an online slots site and sportsbook owned by a brand known as Probe Investments. It’s not a name I am overly familiar with, and as I have reviewed hundreds of casinos, that rarely happens. It’s also not a name I would usually associate with online casinos, as “probe” conjures an entirely different image.

I’m all for new experiences, though, and this site seems very interesting. The theme is not too in-your-face, but it also doesn’t look like a carbon copy of everything else. There are some decent games and bonuses (more on those below), and there are some noteworthy features, as well.

Last but not least, Energy Casino is a member of IBAS, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service. IBAS is a mediator service that gives you an outlet if you have a complaint that the casino doesn’t listen to and you can’t be bothered contacting the regulator.

All signs are looking good so far, so let’s take a closer look.

Finally a casino with more than 4 categories

Welcome Offer and Other Promotions

The Energy Casino Welcome Bonus looked a little disappointing at first, but it won me over eventually.

It offers 50 Free Spins for players who deposit £10 or more, but those spins have a value of just £0.10 each and there is a maximum cash out of £100.

This means that you’re basically getting £5 worth of bonus credits and in the unlikely event you turn these spins into a big win, you’ll lose most of it.

The good news is that there is no wagering requirement, so if you win enough to meet the minimum withdrawal amount, you can cash out.

This term makes it a great bonus for small-stakes players, but for everyone else, there’s not much to get excited about.

That’s where the Live Casino Welcome Bonus comes in. Also aimed at new players, this bonus offers 25% cashback in Live Casino losses for new players, and there is a cap of £100.

If you’re a small-stakes player, stick with the Free Spins. If you’re a medium or high-stakes player, opt for the Live Casino offer.

These aren’t the only bonuses available at Energy Casino. There are weekly and monthly offers available too, all of which are targeted toward loyal players. It even includes a VIP Program whereby you earn Energy Points and then convert these into Energy Spins.

Just wager, play, and collect. When you have enough points you can check what’s available in the Energy Store and then redeem them as needed.

Slots and Other Games

Energy Casino hosts a huge number of games from developers like NetEnt, Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Red Tiger Gaming, Thunderkick, and others.

These include some of the biggest progressive jackpot slots in the industry, including Mega Moolah, which has smashed many records over the years, and Mega Fortune, which also offers life-changing jackpot sums.

You will definitely not be left wanting in this area, but the games are not even my favourite part about this casino’s games room.

In the past, I have ranted endlessly about the lack of category and filter options, noting that casinos need to start including the option to search by “Provider” and “Features” as standard, but very few do.

Energy Casino is one of those few. Not only is there an option to search by provider and game type, but there are also searchable menus like “Bonus Buy”, “Megaways”, and “Jackpot Slots”. I’m still not seeing Cascading Reels and Locked/Sticky Wilds, two of my favourite features, but kudos to Energy Casino for trying.

If you look at the top menu, you’ll notice an option for a sportsbook. But this is not like the integrated sportsbook found on sites like PokerStars. It’s more like 888Casino in the sense that it exists on an entirely different site. Clicking that link will just redirect you to Energy Bet.

The sportsbook is decent and it’s worth checking out if you’re into that sort of thing, but there are many better options out there, and I’m here for the casino, not the sportsbook.

Depositing and Withdrawing

Energy Casino doesn’t charge for withdrawals or deposits and it accepts a variety of popular payment methods, including web wallets and debit cards. Withdrawals can be a little on the slow side, though it depends on the method that you use and it seems that all players don’t have the same experience in this department.

Energy Casino Review Summary

I love the fact that Energy Casino’s main Welcome Bonus doesn’t have a wagering requirement and that it offers an alternative to high-stake players. Combined with the many games and selection of category options, it makes for an interesting casino and one that gets a lot of things right.

It can be slow with its withdrawals, the Live Chat hours are limited, and I would have preferred to see an integrated sportsbook, but on the whole, this is a great site and one I would recommend.

Energy Casino FAQ

  • Who Owns Energy Casino?

Energy Casino is owned by a company known as Probe Investments, as noted at the outset of this review. D&B tells me that the company is based in Malta, has 3 employees, and has something to do with the “spectator sports” industry. Not as helpful as I had hoped. What I do know, however, is that the owners of this site also own Energy Bet, work with trusted developers, and have licenses from the UK and Maltese authorities. That’s really all that matters.

  • How Can I Contact Energy Casino?

The best way of getting in touch is to use the Live Chat feature, which is open to all players and not just members. There are limited opening times for Live Chat, and it’s not available during the early morning hours.

  • Do I Need Two Accounts for Sports and Casino Games?

Usually, no, but you may need two accounts here as the casino and sportsbooks are on two different sites. One is Energy Casino and the other is Energy Bet.

  • Is Energy Casino Legit?

Of course! Just because it’s not run by a major brand that owns dozens of casinos doesn’t mean it’s not legit. After all, it’s a fully licensed and certified online casino and works with all of your favourite developers and payment methods.
