For this weekend only, Gala Bingo has launched a ‘Galary’ in Manchester city centre…

Yesterday morning, eagle-eyed members of the Bingo Paradise team looked out the office window and spotted a familiar-looking yellow logo being installed on the building opposite, the Smolensky Gallery.

For this weekend only (17th and 18th February 2024), Gala Bingo has opened a ‘Galary’.

Intrigued, we went along today and were treated to a glass of prosecco on arrival and given a bingo card with 90 numbers to complete.

The All the Calls ‘Galary’ is full of exhibits, each of which is numbered and matches a bingo call on the sheet.

The exhibits range from items such as alarm clocks, real-life actors, actual paintings and balloons. There are a few nods to Manchester too, think bees, a map of the city centre and a pack of cards featuring the Beetham Tower (Hilton Hotel).

There’s also a pick-n-mix stand – giving a welcome sugar rush to help us through the clues.

Never ones to do half a job, we spent around two hours completing the challenge! Once finished personal details are added to the back of the bingo card and the card is posted into a big Perspex box.

On the way out, everyone is treated to a spin of the wheel – we won air a pack of car air fresheners – we’d have preferred a mug, but never mind.

After the amazing reception from our ‘All the Calls’ campaign, we’re thrilled to inject joy and curiosity into the city of Manchester this February with the All The Calls Galary. We’re bringing all 90 calls back into the heart of the bingo community through an interactive experience and we can’t wait to see the public being put to the bingo call test in this unique way”, says Sara Jolly, Head of Brand at Gala Bingo
