Magical Vegas takes this theme and runs with it, introducing us to a world that combines the glamour and style of Sin City with the pizazz of stage magic.

Welcome Bonus

I have praised Rank Interactive sites in the past for offering sizeable welcome bonuses while also criticising them for excluding PayPal deposits. The same is true for Magical Vegas. On the one hand, you can get up to £300 and 30 free spins when you join as a new player. But if you use PayPal to make a qualifying deposit, you’ll invalidate the bonus.

To qualify, you must deposit a minimum of £20. It’s a little on the high side, but it won’t be an issue for most players. Your first deposit will then be matched 100% up to £300. So, anything you deposit between £20 and £300 will be doubled; all amounts over that will receive £300.

The 30 free spins are fixed to Pragmatic Play slot machines and you must wager your winnings on these slots.

The PayPal thing will frustrate a lot of players—it was certainly an issue for me—but it’s not the biggest problem. The main issue with this welcome bonus is the wagering requirement, which is fixed at 50x and applies to both the deposit and the bonus, effectively turning it into a massive 100x requirement. So, if you deposit £50 and get another £50 in bonus credits, you must clear £5,000 during the wagering period.

The bonus has a maximum payout of 5x, and this kicks in after the wagering period. So, if you turn that £50 into £500, you can use the extra funds to get through the wagering period but will lose all but £250 at the end of that period.

Verdict: Magical Vegas Review

As with other Rank Interactive casinos, Magical Vegas has a very simple but neat layout. It doesn’t overcomplicate things with flash banners, promotions, sliders, and all those other annoyances that only serve to get in the way. There are stacks of top games to choose from, and while I would have preferred some better categories and filters, making navigation easier, it’s a solid site on the whole.

The biggest issues I have with the site are the terms attached to the welcome bonus. Sure, it’s a big bonus and it leads into a second deposit bonus, but the wagering requirement is far too high and PayPal depositors are excluded.

All things considered, it’s an excellent site, and it’s worth a deposit or two. Just make sure you read those terms and conditions before you deposit, and take it easy as you progress through the wagering period.
