The biggest criticism of Jumpman Gaming sites concerns their withdrawal process. We’ve levied a few of these criticisms ourselves, noting that the withdrawals are too slow and too expensive (thanks to a £2.50 fixed fee). But that could be set to change, at least partially, as Jumpman Gaming have just announced they will be implementing instant withdrawals.

The Announcement
We received an announcement from Jumpman Gaming on January 17th, stating that they have made an “update to [their] withdrawal process by introducing instant withdrawals”. The email adds that this will only apply to verified users, but we’re talking about a UK-licensed gambling network, so you’ll need to be verified before you can do anything on the site anyway.
Furthermore, that verification is often quick and easy, with most sites running soft credit checks based on the information you provide during registration.
Just make sure you enter your details correctly, otherwise, you may be asked for further documentation and that could prolong the verification and withdrawal periods.
It’s a big step for the operator, but it has been a long time coming. Instant withdrawals are nothing new. Most UK gambling sites process your money instantly these days, and Jumpman Gaming were lagging behind by insisting on protracted waiting periods.
Still, it’s a move in the right direction for the brand, and considering they own around 200 sites, it’s one that will please a lot of players.
What About the Fees?
There was nothing in the announcement about scrapping fees. As far as we can tell, the £2.50 withdrawal charge still applies. It is still listed as a charge in the terms and conditions of Jumpman Gaming sites like NoDepositSpins.
It means that while you’ll get your money quicker than before, you’ll still need to pay £2.50 for the pleasure. On the plus side, at least those fees haven’t increased, which would have been unforgivable.
Why is this such an issue? Well, as we have pointed out in many of our reviews, these fees are particularly harsh to casual players, who likely make up the bulk of Jumpman’s players. It means that if you withdraw £10, you’ll lose 25%. The more you withdraw, the less of an impact that fee will have, but that doesn’t help small-stake players.
Have There Been Any Other Changes?
Everything else seems to have remained the same on Jumpman Gaming sites. You can still use a variety of banking methods, including debit cards, web wallets, and Pay By Mobile. The latter of these charges an additional fee, though. It works by adding your deposit amount to your mobile phone bill, and it’s only available as a deposit option, with strict limits on how much you can deposit.
It means you’ll need to pay £5 if you deposit with Pay By Mobile and withdraw with another method, costing you £10 in total. It’s a big price to pay, so we wouldn’t recommend using this method.
You can’t avoid the £2.50 withdrawal charge, but at least the network has made some improvements and is now letting players cash out instantly.
