Dungannon is the third-largest town in Northern Ireland and is home to around 16,000 people. Despite this small population, Rio Bingo has a dedicated following of bingo players at their extremely popular club on George Street. So how exactly do you get to this local-favourite and what makes this place so popular?

Rio Bingo is easy to find and is located at the corner of George Street and William Street, close to Argos.

It’s a midsize bingo hall and whilst it doesn’t have its own car park, there is a parking facility positioned nearby at the Anne Street East Car Park. For just £3.60, you can park for over 8 hours – not bad if you want to combine your bingo with a trip to the shops.

The hall is conveniently placed close by to the local bus route on Ballygawley Road, a two minute walk away and you can catch the 78, 80c, 86c or 86a.

The club operates two sessions per day, the afternoon one beginning at 12:40 pm and one in the evening starting at 8:00 pm and the hall is open from 11 am all days except for Sunday, when it opens at 14:00. The hall closes at midnight Monday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday and Saturday (11 pm on a Tuesdays & Sunday).

It isn’t just bingo that’s available at this modern bingo hall; you can also play casino slots and there is a fantastic range of promotions available any time of the year, including Skyscraper where you can win up to £5,000 and Odds and Evens where if you find the golden ball you can win amazing a cool £1,000. The hall isn’t just for bingo-lovers, the hall is used to host social events and is a real hub of the community.

It holds coffee and cake mornings and can be booked for birthdays and anniversaries. There is a great free tea and coffee service but you do need to bring your own snacks and treats.
