Mecca Bingo Leith was sold and is now Club 3000. We’re leaving the content below in place until we’ve written a new page for Club 3000 Leith.
Leith is a beautiful coastal town located in the north of Edinburgh and is home to over 50,000 residents. You’ll find Mecca Bingo located in a charming converted cinema on Manderston Street making this not only an accessible place to get to but a stunning place to play bingo. So how exactly do you get there and what does this quaint bingo hall have to offer?
Mecca Bingo Leith is located just off the A900 a route that links the town to the City of Edinburgh. It is situated on a busy bus route that includes the 10, 14, 25, N7 and N22 as well as many more making this very accessible via public transport. The premises itself does not have any of its own parking facilities however and spaces should be sought in the surrounding streets, subject to fees.
The club operates 7 days per week and opens between 10 and 11:30 am, remaining open until between 10 and 11 pm at night. There are three session times to choose from; morning, afternoon and evening.
Morning sessions usually start at 11:50 am while afternoon play begins at 12:30 pm on weekdays.
Evening sessions commence every night at 7:35 pm but you can check out the website for a detailed look at their schedule and exact times of play at www.meccabingo.com . However, with a wide variety of games and times of play, there will definitely be something that is suitable for you.
Prices and Games
Morning games are played for £1 whilst you buy a book for £1 or £2. If you prefer to play on a weekday afternoon, the books will vary in prices from £1-£4.50. The weekend is one of the most popular times for this club and the Saturday 2 pm event is priced at £10.50, making it one of the most expensive and the busiest.
If you don’t fancy playing with a crowd, you could attend one of the more relaxed Sunday sessions and pick up a bargain with books costing £1.50. Promotions are regularly run and you could play some extra games such as Lucky Stars Jackpot which start at a very reasonable 50p.
The venue has the capacity for up to 1,200 members and has 50 modern Mecca Max terminals, giving you access to a number of video slots as well. The facility also houses a café and bar serving food and drinks and has several free ATM’s available.
