Recently announced closure

Unfortunately, when we last checked 28/04/22, Buzz Bingo’s website had posted a message stating that they’ve closed for business due to the uncertain times the pandemic has brought for the business.

A short extract from Buzz Bingo Bournemouth Facebook page:

‘Everyone has been impacted by Coronavirus including us here at Buzz Bingo, which means we have had to make some difficult decisions. It’s with a heavy heart we announce that Buzz Bingo Bournemouth will not be reopening and is closing permanently in a proposed restructure. We’re really sad to bring you this news as we know this will be a difficult time for our community and our colleagues’.

Situated in an old cinema building, this club will keep you entertained with its great facilities and ‘buzzing’ atmosphere.

Location

The location of this bingo club is great for those who live near Bournemouth University Lansdowne.

The location isn’t central to town, but you’ll be able to use some great public transport links to the bingo hall which is situated slightly to the east of Bournemouth.

If you’d like to use the bus then you can take the 1a, 1b, 1c, x3 and m2 bus routes that will drop you off right outside this club. You can also use the train and get off at Bournemouth train station which is just around a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a car park round the back of the club if you’d rather bring your car, that way you can take advantage of some of the offers that the bar will no doubt be running!

Session Times

If you’d like to visit this bingo hall from Monday to Saturday, the doors open at 10am and close at Midnight. On Sundays, you’ll need to wait a little longer as it opens at 12pm and closes at Midnight.

Most days have three sessions for you to choose from except Sundays which skip the morning session. Through the week the sessions begin at 12 pm, 1 pm and 7.30 pm.

Prices

The prices at this bingo hall are pretty frugal, so you don’t need to spend a lot to be part of the action. You’ll find that most of their games are playable for less than a fiver, with the larger events a bit more expensive. However, there are always big perks on offer for those that want to splash out a bit more at this club.

Facilities

This bingo hall features pretty much everything you need for a good night out! They have loads of seats, a bar and food service too. This means you’re in for a great night and there are even loads of promotions to look out for on top. There’s table service available, so you won’t need to leave your bingo cards if you fancy ordering a refreshment or two, oh la, la!

As all bingo halls should be, this place is fully accessible for any player that requires additional assistance. You can call up if you need their staff to make any alternative arrangements for your party. This building might look small from the outside, but once you’re in there, you’ll realise just how large it actually is – a bit of a tardis really!

As we’ve mentioned, this hall is situated in a renovated cinema and you can enjoy some of the original architecture.

This is a great step into the past, before you go ahead and get playing a load of high tech bingo. The club has a pretty distinctive atmosphere, which you can enjoy the moment you step in.
All in all, this is an interesting club with a lot to offer their visitors.
