Bogof Bingo has closed

BOGOF Bingo has closed. Its own address now carries a closure notice rather than a bingo site, and the Gambling Commission register lists the brand's domain as inactive under its operator, Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited. This review is kept for reference and is no longer updated. If you still hold a balance, contact the operator directly and keep any confirmation emails and transaction records you have.

BOGOF is an acronym for “Buy One Get One Free”. You might remember it from the Safestyle double-glazing adverts where the guy shouted the phrase at the camera for 30 seconds while wearing a regal robe. It’s also similar to the expression “bog off”, which means “go away”. Throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, people found this similarity hilarious as it was used as a cheap pun in many magazine and TV ads. Despite styling its name in the lowercase, Bogof Bingo sticks with the vibe of this abbreviated promotion.

Welcome Bonus

BOGOF Bingo welcomes new players with a 100% slots bonus up to £200 when you deposit £10 or more, plus 7 days of free bingo in the Newbie Room (up to 6 free tickets per game). The slots bonus comes with 35x wagering and winnings are capped at 4x your bonus; both the bonus funds and free bingo access expire after 7 days, 18+ only, full T&Cs apply.

Loyalty Bonus

Bogof Bingo keeps things interesting for loyal players with a rewards program and regular promotions. There are free spins, reload promotions, free bingo tickets, and more. Several of these were active at the time of writing, including a promotion offering up to 30 free spins on Starburst and a daily prize wheel that all players are invited to spin. Both of these will likely be finished by the time you read this review, but they will be replaced by similar offers. Check the “Promotions” section for more information every time you sign in, and preferably before you deposit anything (just in case the bonus requires a deposit).

Slots and Other Games

NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go, and Blueprint Gaming are just a few of the names providing slots to the Bogof Bingo games room. It’s far from a unique selection and covers all bases with regards to big features, jackpots, 3D slots, and player favourites. If this was all that Bogof Bingo had to offer, it would be disappointing, but it’s a bingo site and bingo is where it shines. Bingo games are available for as little as £0.01 per ticket, and there are some massive jackpots to collect, including several with more than £5,000 in the pot. Games include variations of 75-ball, 80-ball, and 90-ball, and you can sort by “Start Time” to see all upcoming games; “Ticket Price” for the cheapest or most expensive tickets, as well as both “Prize Pool” and “Jackpot” to focus on the ones that have the biggest payouts. Heavy Weight and Super Heavy Weight are two of the stand-out games here. Not only do they have jackpots worth thousands of pounds, but they also have high prize pools.

Banking and Customer Support

Bogof Bingo accepts a few different payment options, including debit cards and PayPal. Withdrawals are on the slow side, though, and you will need to wait up to 48 hours for things to process and then another 1 to 5 days to get your funds. The actual wait is rarely that long, but it can be. Most sites will give you your winnings in just a few hours these days, as noted in reviews like PokerStars and bet365. Being asked to wait for up to a week is too much. As for customer support, it’s available 24/7 via live chat and email. You can also text 07360542081 to get help with SMS. The live feature is available to everyone, but you’ll be connected to a chatbot in the first instance and must enter your contact details before going any further. There is also an FAQ with some basic information.

Verdict: Bogof Bingo Review

I only have a couple of small criticisms about Bogof Bingo. The first is straightforward and will be an issue for most players, the slow withdrawal time. It takes several days to get your funds and in this day and age, that’s just not acceptable. A few hours is okay. Even a day is okay, as some big sites still ask you to wait for up to 24 hours. But waiting up to 48 hours before even processing the payment is a bit much. The other issue is really just a nitpick and it’s the fact that a site that bills itself as “Buy One Get One Free” Bingo doesn’t have many actual BOGOF offers. There are some offers that could qualify though, and Bogof Bingo wouldn’t be the first online gambling site that didn’t stay true to its name. All in all, Bogof Bingo is a good site. I wouldn’t rank it alongside the likes of Foxy Bingo and Wink Bingo, but it’s a good contender and it’s worth checking out.
