Villento Casino is owned by Apollo Entertainment, the same brand behind Captain Cooks Casino. It’s not just the operator that’s the same, either. The site adopts pretty much the same theme and layout, and that’s a shame, as I hated the layout of Captain Cooks and was very critical in my review.

Villento Casino is a little classier though and it doesn’t look as dated. As for the content, it has many of the same great features found on its sister site, and it’s those I will take a closer look at in this Villento Casino review. 

Welcome Offer

The Villento Casino welcome bonus is a five-stage deposit bonus that offers a total of £1,000 in the following percentages:

• 1st Deposit Bonus: 100% up to £150
• 2nd Deposit Bonus: 50% up to £250
• 3rd Deposit Bonus: 30% up to £200
• 4th Deposit Bonus: 20% up to £200
• 5th Deposit Bonus: 50% up to £200

To collect the full £1,000, you must deposit a total of £2,717. That’s a lot of money, but it’s still a generous bonus. More importantly, the highest percentage payout comes with your first deposit. So, if you collect the bonus, play a few games, and realise it’s not for you, simply leave and move on. If you decide that you like the site, you can deposit again and keep going.

Even better, you only need to deposit £10 to qualify for each of these bonuses. If you deposit £10 each time for a total of £50, you’ll get the following in return:

• £5
• £3
• £2
• £5
• Total = £25 

All of that is fair and well, but there is one big negative here that takes the shine off somewhat. It concerns the wagering requirement, which is fixed at a staggering 200x.

To put that into perspective, the average is between 25x and 50x. In the past, I have criticised Jumpman Gaming casinos like Lights! Camera! Bingo! for using wagering requirements of 65x. The 200x wagering requirement makes those sites look generous.

It means that if you deposit £10, you must wager £2,000 before you can withdraw anything. 

Check out the terms and conditions to learn more about the wagering period, as some games only count 50% of your wager. If you get stuck playing these throughout the wagering period, that £2,000 target will turn into £4,000!

Other Bonuses and Promotions

Villento Casino has a casino rewards scheme that rewards you for staying loyal and keeping those deposits flowing. It’s fairly limited and there’s not a lot here to get excited about, but it’s still a loyalty promotion and there are still plenty of reasons to join in.

Take a peek at the “Casino Rewards” section when you sign up. There won’t be much to collect at this point, but it’s good to familiarise yourself with it and if you’re still hanging around when the welcome bonus is over and done with, you can start collecting some prizes.

Villento Casino has over 550 games, most of which come from Microgaming. They are one of the biggest developers in the business and have produced some classic titles over the years, including the brilliant Mega Moolah, which comes with a record-breaking jackpot.

Villento Casino looks a little better than Casino Cooks Casino and it also has a bigger welcome bonus. But the wagering requirement is massive and while better, the layout is still not the best.

It’s worth checking out for the welcome bonus though, especially if you’re a Microgaming and/or progressive jackpot fan.
