Bingo Paradise Rating

The Egyptian empire is one of the longest-running in history. It gave us massive tombs, wonderful stories of gods and goddesses, and a seemingly endless number of Channel 5 and Discovery documentaries. It also inspired Egypt Slots, and in this review, I’ll see whether it’s as successful as Rameses II or as tragic as Akhenaten.

The Basics

Firstly, let’s get the obvious out of the way: the theme.

I love a bit of ancient Egypt and judging by massively popular slots like Book of Dead and Cleopatra, I’m not alone.

But what’s going on here?

“Can you design a casino for us, something Egyptianish?” “Sure. I’ve got 5 minutes to spare”

The logo looks like something out of a 1990s point-and-click video game and the site was seemingly developed using the first-ever copy of MS Frontpage. It’s not terrible, but it would have been much more impressive 25 years ago.

To make matters worse, the site itself is poorly structured and formatted.

I never play in full screen. All of my windows are between 1/3 and 1/2 of the screen size, as I have multiple windows open at once. Usually, this is not a problem as modern casinos are dynamic and will change according to the window size. In many cases, they actually look better, as they adopt similar layouts to the ones used on mobile.

But look what happens when I do the same with Egypt Slots.

First the Egyptians suffered an invasion of the marauding sea people, then they were conquered by the great empires of the age, and now this. When will the suffering end?

It actually looks worse—astonishing, I know.

The weird thing is that once you make it to the lobby, the site looks fine. Not great, but by comparison, it’s a masterpiece. So…what the hell is happening with that landing page?

Welcome Offer

How does a 10 Free Spin no deposit bonus sound?

If your answer is, “disappointing”, then you’re not alone. But wait, there’s more!

Not only does this bonus limit you to just 10 Free Spins, but there is a 4x max conversion limit, a 60x wagering requirement, and the spins can only be used on the Mysterious Egypt slot.

I like it when sites follow through with their themes and the fact that this bonus is limited to an Egyptian-themed game certainly ticks that box, but that’s the only positive I can find.

That’s not the only frustrating thing, either.

Take a look at the image below. This is what happened when I clicked “Join” on the main casino page, and then dared to leave the site for 30 seconds so I could take notes.

I got two pop-ups in addition to the cookie and support notifications, and I was always already in the sign-up page in the process of signing up!

There are a couple of other bonuses being promised in the Egypt Slots lobby. These include 50 Bonus Spins and £200 Cashback, both of which would be preferable. But every time I clicked those links, I was directed to the same page above, one that promised only 10 Free Spins.

Maybe I’m missing something. Maybe there is another offer somewhere. But I can’t find it, and if it does exist, it really shouldn’t be that well-hidden.

Slots and Bingo Rooms

Red Tiger Gaming, Microgaming, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Blueprint Gaming, Scientific Games—the games room is an area where Egypt Slots excels.

There are many great developers here and the games are spread across several key categories, including Live Dealer games, slots, scratch cards, and a few jackpot slots. It’s not the biggest or the best selection, but it’s certainly nothing that deserves criticism.

It’s not a bingo site, of course, so the bingo options are few and far between. If you’re looking for slots and Evolution Gaming Live Dealer titles, however, you can’t go wrong.

Depositing and Withdrawing

The minimum deposit and withdrawal on Egypt Slots is £10, and there are a few different options to choose from, including debit cards, Neteller, PayPal, and Boku. I would advise against using the latter, though, as there are fees and limits in place that don’t exist elsewhere.

Regardless of the method you’re using, all withdrawals will be subject to a pending period of between 3 and 5 days, one that Egypt Slots states will be used to conduct a series of checks.

Pending periods are not unique to Egypt Slots, and they used to be common on all online casinos, but they really shouldn’t exist in this day and age. Casinos perform necessary checks when the player joins and becomes verified, and there is simply no reason for holding the player’s withdrawal for over 3 days.

If there was, all casinos would do it, yet the best ones process payments instantly and most do so within 12 hours.

Egypt Slots Review Summary

I know that I often get too caught up in the way that a casino looks, and you could argue that it should be more about the games. But the games are provided by third parties, and if a casino wants you to gamble your hard earned money with them and place your trust in them, they should at least go to the effort of creating something unique, attractive, and easy to use.

They should also make it easy for you to withdraw your winnings, ensuring you get your money in a similarly quick fashion as when you gave it to them.

Egypt Slots doesn’t do either of those things. It has good games and parts of the site are okay. But there are more cons than pros.

Even the customer support is problematic.

The “Support” button in the bottom corner might look like a Live Chat, but it’s not. It connects you to a bot that basically spits FAQs at you, and if you persist and click “Get in Touch”, you’ll be directed to a contact form.

Unless you’ve already joined all other sites, really like ancient Egypt, and want a new bonus, I don’t see much reason to join this site. There are so many better options out there and Egypt Slots needs to up its game before it can compete with them.
