I have reviewed hundreds of casinos over the last couple of years. Most are forgettable. And I mean that quite literally—I have stumbled across sites I thought were new to me, only to realise I reviewed them months earlier. Of the ones that stick in my memory, several adopt a “kingdom” theme.

I am a student of ancient and medieval history and I also have a passion for strategy games and RPGs set in a similar era, so it’s only natural that these sites stick in my memory.

Needless to say, I was excited when I saw Slots Kingdom on my list. I expected castles, jousting knights, siege warfare, and dragons.

What I got was a logo with a crown.

I kid you not, that’s pretty much the extent of Slots Kingdom’s “theme”. Then again, this half-arsery is not unique to Slots Kingdom and is something I’ve seen on countless other sites over the years, including Egypt Slots and Dino Bingo.

Putting the aesthetics to one side (which I’m clearly struggling to do), Slots Kingdom works under license from the UK Gambling Commission and while there are no knights or mythical creatures in sight, there are plenty of big slots and bonuses.

The wheel is full of prize segments and the 1,000% bonus is just one of these. It’s not one of those fake bonus wheels you find on retail sites, the ones that pop-up unprompted and pretend that you’ve just “won” a 10% discount. It’s a genuine game of chance, and there’s just as much chance of winning a 100%, 200%, 300%, or 500% bonus as there is a 1,000% bonus.

All winnings are subject to 65x wagering requirements and you can only win an amount that is equal to your lifetime deposits (up to £250).

It’s your first deposit, so it’s also 100% of your “lifetime deposits”. This means that if you deposit £10 and collect £100 in bonus credits, you’ll have a maximum payout of £10 by the time you clear the wagering requirements.

Its games come courtesy of many top developers, including NetEnt, Playtech, and Microgaming. You don’t always see Playtech and Microgaming together, and it’s always a welcome sight.

Add Pragmatic Play Live, Yggdrasil, and Blueprint to the mix, throw in a few fringe creators, and you have a very entertaining and eclectic mix.

All games are instant play and work across a multitude of devices. The site that you see when you’re not a member is a little different from the one you’ll see when you sign up and log in. And that’s a good thing, as the member’s area is much better and easier to navigate.

Depositing and Withdrawing

The distinct lack of dragons isn’t the only issue I have with Slots Kingdom. It also charges £2.50 for withdrawals.

Most players deposit and withdraw amounts of £10 or £20, so that £2.50 could equate to 25% of their total cash out. It’s an obscene amount of money and it’s a charge that simply shouldn’t exist in 2022.

The pending period and the verification period can take up to 3 business days each, and if you use debit cards for deposits and withdrawals, that’s an extra 3 to 5 days you’ll need to wait.

Make a withdrawal on an unverified account during a busy holiday period and you could be waiting for up to 2 weeks.

On the plus side, Slots Kingdom supports PayPal payments and it also accepts PaysafeCard and Pay By Mobile for deposits online.

Slots Kingdom Review Summary

As disappointed as I was with Slots Kingdom’s theme, and as annoyed as I was with its withdrawal fee and prolonged pending period, it made up for this with its gaming selection and loyalty bonuses. All of these are provided by the Jumpman Gaming network and it’s one of the network’s best assets.

It’s hard to rate this site too highly based on the aforementioned flaws, but it’s definitely deserving of a 3/5. It’s worth investing a little of your time and money into this site if you need a new place to play.
