Welcome offer
LottoGo is a lottery betting site, which is not the same thing as a lottery. You place a bet with the operator on what a draw will produce rather than buying an entry into it, and if your numbers come up the company pays you from its own funds rather than from the prize pool.
It is operated by Annexio (Jersey) Limited, company number 125819, of De Carteret House, 7 Castle Street, St Helier, Jersey, part of the Annexio group. It is licensed in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account 51692 and by the Jersey Gambling Commission under RGO-011-23.
Being run from Jersey rather than Malta or Gibraltar is unusual among the sites we review, and it comes with a second regulator rather than instead of one.
Welcome Offer
The offer is on the slots side, not the lottery side, and the site states it like this:
Significant Terms: 18+. New players only. Minimum deposit £20, 10x wagering in 7 days, max bet £5, max win applies. Spin value £0.10 each. 50 spins added immediately, 50 added 24 hours later.
At 10p a spin, 100 spins carry £10 of stake for a £20 deposit, so you get back half of what you put in. The wagering is 10x within 7 days, which is the legal ceiling, and your stake is capped at £5 while you clear it.
The split delivery is the detail to plan around. Only half the spins arrive when you deposit; the other 50 land a day later. So the offer needs two visits, and if you deposit, play through the first 50 and never come back, you have left half the offer behind.
Note also that a maximum win applies without the figure appearing on the banner. That is the number that decides what a good run is actually worth, so find it in the full terms before you treat the offer as the reason to join.
Promotions
The ongoing side is the weakest part of the site and has been for as long as we have reviewed it. There are occasional offers and the lottery side runs special draws, but there is nothing aimed at a regular player: no published loyalty ladder, no reliable weekly reward, no cashback.
For a site that wants you buying lottery lines week after week, that is an odd omission. A player who comes back every Friday is exactly the customer a loyalty scheme is for.
Lotteries and Games
The lottery side is the point of the site and covers draws from around the world, with the odds and prize structures set out for each one. That last part is the real advantage of the betting model over a ticket: a bookmaker has to publish what it is offering, where a newsagent tells you nothing.
The pricing is where I would argue with it. Lines here cost more than the same entry bought directly, and for the headline European draws you can buy a real ticket for a fraction of what a bet costs. If you are playing for the result rather than for the convenience, buying direct is cheaper, and I would not pretend otherwise.
Alongside the lotteries sits a conventional slots lobby from the usual studios, plus instant win games. It is competent and it is not why anyone comes here. If slots are your main interest, there are far better stocked casinos in this market.
There are also scratchcard-style instant games on the site, and I would skip them. You can buy the physical equivalent in any newsagent, the online versions carry no advantage beyond not having to leave the house, and they sit awkwardly next to the one thing this site genuinely does well.
Depositing and Withdrawing
The welcome offer needs £20, which is twice what most sites ask, and the cashier takes the usual debit cards and wallets. The payment list is varied enough to keep most players happy.
Because the lottery products are bets rather than entries, a win is paid by the operator out of its own funds and insurance arrangements rather than from a draw's pot. That has worked for years and it is still a different arrangement from a state lottery, so it is worth knowing which one you are buying.
Customer Support
Support runs through a help centre with email and chat behind it, and the site documents the betting structure properly, which is the part most customers misunderstand. No support hours are published.
Being licensed in Jersey as well as Britain is quietly useful here. A lottery bet depends entirely on the operator being able to pay a win it did not fund from a prize pool, so a second regulator looking at the same balance sheet is worth more on this kind of site than it would be on a slots casino.
Review Summary
Three stars. As a way to bet on draws from around the world it does the job, the odds are published draw by draw, and it carries two regulators rather than one.
What keeps the score down is everything around that. The welcome offer returns half of the £20 it asks for and holds back 50 of the 100 spins for a day, with a maximum win that is referred to but not stated. There is effectively nothing for a loyal player. The lines cost more than buying the same entry yourself. And the slots lobby is a sideline rather than a reason to be here.
Worth an account if you want draws you cannot buy locally. Not worth one for the casino.
