Welcome offer
The whole Kwiff thing comes from an ad campaign run by the Kwiff sportsbook, a mobile focused bookmaker. The idea is that you can get a random odds boost on a bet you have already placed, an interesting if somewhat gimmicky feature, and it is where the brand's name and personality come from.
In this review I will take a deeper look at Kwiff Casino and see whether it is as unique, interesting and memorable as the brand's advertising campaigns.
It is operated by Eaton Gate Gaming Limited, licensed in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account 44448.
Bonuses and Promotions
The welcome offer is 200 free spins on Book of Dead, and the site states it like this:
Significant Terms: Wager £20 cash on slots within 5 days of first deposit and get 200 free spins on Book of Dead. £0.10 per spin. £250 total max withdrawal. E-wallets and virtual cards excluded. 18+. New customers only.
The arithmetic works out well. At 10p a spin, 200 spins carry £20 of stake, which is exactly what you had to wager to earn them, and the £20 is a single requirement rather than something repeated across the 5 days. You have 5 days from your first deposit to put it through.
Two conditions to read before you fund the account. The maximum you can withdraw from the whole offer is £250, which only matters on a good run but decides what a good run is worth. And e-wallets and virtual cards are excluded, so although PayPal works perfectly well on this site, paying with it will not qualify you. Use a debit card for the first deposit and switch afterwards if you prefer.
Games and Software
Kwiff Casino has an attractive aesthetic. It is clearly made for mobile, but it also looks good on desktop. Unfortunately there is one niggling mistake that prevents it from being a truly special site in this department, and it has not been fixed.
When you have yet to sign up for an account, the site forbids you from seeing the slots section. You can click on the live casino, table games and virtual sports links and there are no issues there. But if you try to see the slots, a pop up tells you that in order to place a bet you will need to join or log in.
Bear in mind that I am not on the sportsbook. I am not trying to place a bet. I am not even trying to play slots. I just want to see what is available before I join. After all, why would anyone join an online casino without knowing anything about its slots? Checking again for this update, the lobby still returns almost nothing to a visitor who has not registered.
Upon joining, you will be greeted with a decent selection of slots from top providers, including Microgaming, NetEnt and Yggdrasil. It is not the biggest or best that I have seen, but there is a little something for everyone, with progressive jackpots, Megaways, video slots and bonus slots, and that is what matters.
The table games are all standard and are not anything you have not already seen a million times, while the live casino titles are provided by the excellent Evolution. You cannot go much wrong with that.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Kwiff Casino accepts PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and ecoPayz, among other payment methods. There is a low minimum deposit and withdrawal of just £5 and it does not charge any fees. Withdrawals are processed relatively quickly and without hassle, and while you will need to verify your identity first, that usually happens automatically.
Make sure you enter your details correctly, and if you are on the electoral roll you should be verified automatically.
The one thing to remember is the offer exclusion above. The payment list is generous and the welcome offer does not accept all of it, so the method that suits you day to day may not be the method that qualifies you on day one.
Customer Support
Live chat is available, which on a mobile first site matters more than it does elsewhere: a problem on a phone is rarely something you want to write an email about.
Verdict: Kwiff Casino Review
Considering that Kwiff built its reputation on the idea of the supercharged, kwiffed betting feature, it would have been nice to see something equally innovative on Kwiff Casino. There still is not anything that truly sets the casino apart from every other casino out there.
What has improved is the offer, and it is the reason this review moves up from a 3 to a 4. A set of 200 spins worth £20, earned by wagering £20 once rather than repeatedly, with the spin value published so you can check it, is a fair and legible deal. The £250 withdrawal cap and the e-wallet exclusion are the sort of terms you want to know in advance, and both are stated plainly rather than buried.
The £5 minimum deposit and withdrawal remains one of the lowest anywhere, the live casino is in safe hands, and the app-like design does what it sets out to do.
What still holds it back is the gate on the slots lobby. A casino that will not let you see its games until you have handed over your details is asking for trust it has not yet earned, and it is a strange thing to do when the games behind the gate are perfectly good. Fix that and this becomes a straightforwardly good site rather than a good site with a shut door.
