UK Bingo has been taking bets since 2003, which makes it one of the oldest sites we review and older than most of the companies that now run its competitors.

It is operated today by ProgressPlay Limited, account number 39335 on the Gambling Commission's register, out of Malta. That matters if you knew the site before, because it ran on the Dragonfish bingo network until 2024. Everything underneath has changed since: the cashier, the rooms, the games and the terms. The Union Jacks are still there.

Wagering is ten times the bonus, which is the legal maximum in Britain since 19 January 2026 rather than a number this site chose. You have 30 days for the bonus and anything it wins, and your own balance is staked before the bonus is touched, which is the arrangement you want: a good session can end with cash in your account rather than a bonus you are still working through.

Then the term that decides what it is worth. Max conversion is one time the bonus amount. Put in £50, get £50 of bonus, clear £500 of wagering, and £50 is the most that becomes withdrawable money from it.

By this operator's standards that is generous, and we do not often get to write that. Several of its casino brands cap free spin winnings at £5 or £20 no matter what the reels do. Here the ceiling is the size of the bonus itself, which at least scales with what you put in.

The condition in the small print

The wagering has to be played on bingo and mini games, on selected games only, with contribution varying game by game.

That is a real restriction rather than boilerplate. If your plan was to take a £50 bonus to the slots and work it off in an evening, this offer will not let you. It is a bingo bonus for bingo players, which is defensible on a bingo site, but it needs saying before you deposit rather than after you have found out. Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded from the offer entirely.

The bingo itself

This is where the site earns its score back.

There is hosted live bingo every Friday from 8pm to 10pm, chat running inside the bingo rooms rather than bolted on as a support widget, weekly jackpots and daily offers. That is a proper bingo operation rather than a casino with a bingo tab, and after twenty-odd years it has the community to fill the rooms.

It is worth being clear about why that counts. Most of the bingo sites we review are casinos wearing a bingo hat, where the rooms are quiet and the chat is empty. A Friday night with a host and people in it is the thing you are actually buying when you choose bingo over slots, and plenty of far newer sites cannot provide it.

Paying in and getting paid

Debit cards, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and Pay by Phone. Two charges are worth knowing before you choose.

Withdrawals carry a processing fee of 1% of the amount, up to £3, charged every time. Take out £40 four times and you pay four fees where taking £160 once costs one. The minimum withdrawal is £2.50 by most methods, or £50 by bank transfer, and a low minimum paired with a percentage fee is an awkward combination: the small cash-out the low minimum invites is the one the fee hits hardest.

Pay by Phone is worse. It deducts a 15% processing fee from the deposit itself and cannot receive withdrawals, so £20 paid in that way credits £17 and still leaves you needing another method to be paid. Use a debit card or PayPal.

Payouts take one business day to process, then three to seven business days to a card or PayPal. Verification takes up to three working days and happens before your first withdrawal.

The operator's record

ProgressPlay was penalised £1,000,000 by the Gambling Commission on 9 May 2025, with a formal warning and a mandatory third-party audit attached, for anti-money-laundering breaches and failures in how it interacted with customers showing signs of harm. It had already paid £175,718 in May 2022.

Two penalties in three years, the second more than five times the first, is a pattern rather than a stumble, and the audit condition means the regulator wanted someone from outside checking the repairs. We put this in every review of a site on this licence. It is not a reason to avoid the site, which is properly licensed and regulated; it is a reason to know who is holding your money.
