Chit Chat Bingo builds its whole proposition on the part of online bingo that the software cannot really sell you: the chat rooms. The site is operated by ProgressPlay Limited, account number 39335 on the Gambling Commission's register, from Limassol in Cyprus.

That is worth stating up front because it has changed. When we last reviewed this site it ran under Grace Media, a Gibraltar licensee. The brand has since moved to ProgressPlay's platform, which means new terms, a new cashier and a different company behind the name.

Welcome offer

Deposit £10 and receive a 200% games bonus up to £40, playable on bingo and mini games.

A 200% match is unusual. Most welcome offers double a deposit; this one trebles what you have to play with, so £10 becomes £30 in total and £20 of that is theirs. Wagering is ten times the bonus, on bingo and mini games, within 30 days, which is the legal maximum in Britain since 19 January 2026.

Then read the line that decides the value: max conversion is one time the bonus. Whatever the bonus produces, the most that becomes withdrawable money is the bonus amount itself. A £20 bonus on a £10 deposit can turn into £20 of real money and no more, however well the session goes.

Two further conditions catch people. Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded, so fund with a card if you want the offer. And a withdrawal request voids all active and pending bonuses, so cashing out mid-offer forfeits whatever is left of it.

The chat rooms

This is the reason the site exists and the reason people stay at bingo sites generally. Rooms with active chat hosts, regulars who recognise each other and games with chat-based side competitions are a different product from a slot lobby, and no amount of games-room size substitutes for it.

What we cannot tell you from outside is how busy the rooms are on a given evening, because that is only visible once you are in. A quiet chat room is the one genuine risk with a site sold on its community: the feature either works or it is an empty window next to the tickets.

Bingo, slots and mini games

Bingo rooms sit alongside the platform's shared slot catalogue, plus the mini games the bonus is playable on. The library is ProgressPlay's rather than this brand's, so the slots are the same ones its sister sites carry.

Our earlier review, written when the site ran on a different platform, found the slot selection middling and the offering thin for anyone staking more than small amounts. The bingo and the chat were what it did well, and that remains the shape of the site.

What a change of operator means for you

A brand moving platform is not cosmetic. The licence, the cashier, the bonus terms, the support team and the complaints route all change with it, even though the name over the door and the chat rooms look the same.

In this case the move brought a withdrawal fee that did not exist before, a conversion cap of one times the bonus, and an operator with two enforcement outcomes in three years. If you held an account here under the old operator, the terms you agreed to then are not the terms you are playing under now, and it is worth reading the current ones rather than assuming.

Getting your money out

The cashier is ProgressPlay's, and it carries a charge worth knowing about before you deposit: the site's own withdrawals page states a processing fee of 1% of the amount, up to £3 per withdrawal.

That is a fee for being paid money you have already won, and it applies every time, so withdrawing in small amounts costs you repeatedly. Take your balance in one go rather than in pieces.

One structural point in the platform's favour: your real balance is staked before bonus money, so a deposit you have not yet spent stays withdrawable rather than being locked under the offer.

The operator's record

ProgressPlay has been sanctioned twice. On 9 May 2025 the Gambling Commission concluded a licence review and found breaches of the anti-money laundering licence conditions, including those applying to operators based in foreign jurisdictions, and failures against the customer interaction provisions of the social responsibility code. The outcome was a formal warning, a condition requiring a third-party audit within six months, and a financial penalty of £1,000,000.

On 17 May 2022 the same company paid £175,718 over social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures. Two enforcement outcomes in three years is a pattern rather than an incident.

Customer interaction is the requirement to notice and act on somebody gambling more than they can afford. It is the finding that should weigh most with a reader, and it is the reason the identity and affordability questions here can be more thorough than you expect.

Chit Chat Bingo review summary

Chit Chat Bingo scores three out of five, down from the four it carried under its previous operator. The reason is stated: the brand has moved to a platform that charges 1% to withdraw, caps bonus conversion at one times the bonus, and belongs to an operator fined £1,000,000 last year. None of those things were true of the site we reviewed before.

What is still good is what always was. The chat rooms are the point of the place and they are better than most, the bingo is properly run, and a 200% match is a larger headline than nearly anything else on the market, even with the conversion cap behind it.

It suits a bingo player who wants company as much as tickets and will cash out in one amount. It suits you less if you are chasing value from the bonus, because one times conversion puts a firm ceiling on what it can ever return.

Pros

  • 200% Match Is A Rare Size
  • Chat Rooms Are The Real Draw
  • Real Money Is Staked First
  • Wagering At The 10x Cap

Cons

  • Conversion Capped At 1x The Bonus
  • 1% Withdrawal Fee, Up To £3
  • E-Wallet Deposits Excluded From The Offer
