Chat is a weekly magazine aimed at women, the sort of bizarrely brilliant publication where the front page is a mishmash of horrifying life stories, heart-warming love stories and a recipe for cottage pie. Chat Mag Bingo is the magazine's bingo site, and it follows a well-worn British pattern of putting a masthead people already recognise on a gambling licence somebody else holds.

The somebody else is Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, Gambling Commission account number 58267. The magazine supplies the name and the audience; the operator supplies the rooms, the cashier, the terms and the support team, all of which are shared with a large family of sister brands.

Knowing that up front changes how you read the site, because almost everything here except the branding is the platform's rather than the magazine's.

Welcome offer

The terms as the site states them: new players only, minimum deposit £10, 300% bingo bonus up to £30, 4x bingo wagering required, five-day expiry.

A 300% headline sounds enormous and the cap is what makes it sensible. Deposit £10 and you play with £40. Deposit £20 and you still play with £50, because the bonus stops at £30. So this is a £10 offer dressed as a percentage, and the way to use it is to deposit exactly the tenner it is built around.

Four times wagering on a £30 bonus means £120 of tickets bought before the bonus converts. British bonus wagering has been capped at ten times since 19 January 2026, so four times is well under the ceiling and genuinely finishable at 5p and 10p tickets. What it is not is instant: £120 of tickets is a serious amount of bingo inside a five-day window.

That combination, a low multiplier on a short clock, is the thing to weigh. A four-times requirement you cannot reach in five days is worth less than it looks.

What the offer used to be

When I last wrote about this site the welcome was split: £20 for bingo and £10 for slots, so a £10 deposit gave you £40 to play with, the bingo half at four times and the slots half at 35 times with a £100 win cap.

That 35x is no longer lawful. The rebuild around the 10x cap has simplified the whole thing into a single bingo bonus at a single multiplier, which is easier to understand and easier to finish. You lose the slots money; you lose a great deal of small print with it. On balance this is a better offer than the one it replaced, which is not something I get to write often.

Bingo rooms and jackpots

The room structure is the platform's, which on this occasion is a compliment. A Top of The Shop room carries a progressive advertised up to £20,000. There are 90-ball games with guaranteed jackpots, Mystery Jackpot games paying between £10 and £500, and free bingo rooms for members with pots advertised up to £1,000.

The site leads with 500 or more games across bingo and slots. Treat that as a lobby count rather than a claim about variety: it is the same catalogue every brand in this family carries, cherry-picked from the major suppliers rather than deep in any one of them.

There are tournaments and event games running regularly, which is one of the better things about the platform. It gives the schedule some shape beyond the ordinary rooms.

Depositing and withdrawing

The site takes PayPal, which not every brand in this family does, and withdrawals were one of the things I marked it up for previously.

There are no live dealer games. For a bingo site that is not a criticism so much as a statement of what this is.

Customer support

I am not a fan of networks that route every support email to one place, and this platform does exactly that.

I have not dealt with this brand's support directly, but I have emailed the group's shared address while reviewing another site in the family, and the experience was what a shared mailbox usually produces: the person answering did not know which of the group's sites I was asking about, and a general question had to go through account verification before it got a general answer.

That is the trade. A shared team is why a magazine can have a bingo site at all. It also means the support you get is the group's, not the brand's, and no amount of magazine branding changes that.

Who it suits

Readers of the magazine, obviously, and more generally anyone who wants a straightforward bingo bonus at a requirement they can finish, and who will deposit the £10 the offer is designed around.

It suits you less if you want slots in any depth, live dealer tables, or support that knows which site you are on.

Playing safely

A five-day window on a four-times requirement is a deadline, and a deadline creates pressure to play more quickly than you otherwise would. If you would not have bought £120 of tickets this week without the bonus, the bonus is not a reason to.

Every licensed British site provides deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and you can set them when you register rather than after something has gone wrong. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, GamCare runs a free confidential helpline on 0808 8020 133, and GAMSTOP will exclude you from every licensed British site at once.

Chat Mag Bingo review summary

Four out of five, unchanged.

The welcome offer does what a bingo bonus should: £30 for a £10 deposit at four times wagering, comfortably under the legal ceiling, and it is simpler and cleaner than the split bonus it replaced. Behind it is the platform's real bingo operation, with a £20,000 progressive, free rooms for members, Mystery Jackpots and a regular schedule of tournaments, and the site takes PayPal.

It stops at four for two reasons, and both are the platform's rather than the magazine's. The five-day clock makes £120 of tickets a genuine ask rather than a formality, and support runs through a shared mailbox for the whole group, which turns a simple question into a verification exercise. Good bingo site, borrowed everything except the name.
