Welcome offer
bet365 Bingo is operated by Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC under account number 55149 on the Gambling Commission's register, on the same account as the casino, games, sport and poker sections.
Its welcome is unlike anything else we review, and whether that is a good thing depends on how you read it.
Welcome offer
A free daily scratchcard, which can award up to 50 free bingo tickets.
Two things about it are unusually honest. It costs nothing, with no deposit required to play the scratchcard. And the terms state outright that a prize is not guaranteed, which is a clearer disclosure than most chance-based promotions manage.
What the terms do not give is the odds of any particular outcome, so 50 tickets is the ceiling rather than an expectation.
How to value a chance-based offer
Most welcome offers can be reduced to arithmetic: a deposit, a multiplier, a cap, and a number that falls out of them. This one cannot, because the prize is decided by a draw whose odds are not published.
The honest way to read it is therefore the same way we read any "up to" claim. Assume the largest prize is the rarest, assume nothing on any given day, and treat anything you receive as a bonus on top of playing at a site you were going to use anyway.
What tips it from a poor offer to a fair one is that it is free and it repeats. A daily chance that costs nothing cannot really disappoint, and over a month of playing it will produce something. A single chance dressed up as a welcome bonus would be a different matter.
Reading an offer properly
Three numbers decide what a welcome offer is worth, and the banner usually shows one of them.
The amount is the advertised part. The wagering multiplier decides how much you must stake before it converts, and since 19 January 2026 no British licensee may set it above ten times. The conversion cap, where one applies, decides the most it can ever become regardless of how the games go.
An offer with a small amount, a low multiplier and no cap will routinely out-pay a larger one with heavy wagering and a ceiling. That is the comparison worth making, and it takes a minute.
Who it suits
Someone who intends to play bingo here regularly, for whom a free daily draw is a small extra that accumulates over time at no cost.
It suits you less if you are comparing welcome offers to decide where to sign up, because this one cannot be compared: it has no stated value, and several competitors offer a fixed bonus or a known number of tickets instead.
Free tickets against a bingo bonus
Worth understanding the difference, because the two are not equivalent and this site offers the first while most of its competitors offer the second.
Free tickets are entries into games, given directly. They do not have to be cleared, they cannot be lost to a playthrough, and whatever they win is ordinary winnings. A bingo bonus is credited money that buys tickets but must be wagered a number of times before any of it can be withdrawn.
So tickets are the cleaner currency, and 50 of them would be a decent prize. The catch here is not the currency but the certainty: a competitor offering £25 of bonus at 2x tells you exactly what you are getting, while a scratchcard tells you only the ceiling.
Bingo and the wider account
Bingo rooms with the casino, games, sport and poker sections all on one login and one balance. The breadth is the practical argument for an account here: very few operators cover this much ground, and none of it requires a separate deposit.
The operator's record
On 4 April 2024 bet365 agreed to pay £582,120 following a Gambling Commission compliance assessment, £343,035 of it from this licensee and the remainder from the sports company in the same group.
The findings covered customer interactions that were frequently not tailored to the individual, an inability to demonstrate whether customers had understood the information given to them, and money laundering weaknesses including a failure to run financial sanctions checks on new customers before their first deposit.
It is a smaller settlement than several in this market and it took account of remedial work already done. It is still on the record.
Playing safely
A welcome offer is a reason to play for longer, not a reason to deposit more than you meant to. Decide what you intend to spend before you look at the promotion, and let the offer improve that figure rather than change it.
Every licensed British site provides deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and they can be set when you register rather than after something has gone wrong. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, GamCare runs a free confidential helpline on 0808 8020 133 and GAMSTOP will exclude you from every licensed British site at once.
bet365 Bingo review summary
Three out of five. A free daily scratchcard costs nothing, repeats indefinitely and is disclosed honestly, with the terms stating plainly that no prize is guaranteed. Behind it sits one of the most complete gambling accounts available in Britain.
It sits at three because there is nothing to compare. An offer with no stated value and unpublished odds cannot be weighed against a £40 bingo bonus at 4x from a competitor, and a reader choosing on the welcome offer should know that. Take it as a free extra at a site you already wanted to use.
