888Ladies has been around long enough to have changed hands twice without changing much. The design is still vibrant greens and faded pinks, everything still sits in one tidy package, and the bingo is still the reason to be here.

The ownership history explains a lot of what you will see on your bank statement. It used to run under Virtual Global Digital Services, and the name Cassava Enterprises turned up too, both part of the same group. Since June 2022 it has been operated by Broadway Gaming Ireland DF Limited, under Gambling Commission account number 58267. The software is Dragonfish, which is what gives it the room structure it shares with a long list of sister sites.

Welcome offer

Two routes in, and the site leads with the smaller of them.

The headline is 50 free spins on Fishin' Triple Pots of Gold with the code GOLD50, on a minimum £10 deposit. Each spin is worth 10p, so £5 of play. Winnings are paid into a games bonus, carry ten times wagering, and expire after five days.

Ten times is the legal maximum in Britain, in force since 19 January 2026, so this sits at the ceiling rather than under it. More to the point, the winnings arrive as bonus funds rather than cash. That is the ordinary arrangement and it is why the wagering requirement exists, but say it plainly: whatever the spins win is not money until you have turned it over ten times.

Alongside it the site offers a 100% games bonus up to £100 on an initial deposit of £10 or more. That is the better headline if you were going to play the slots anyway, and it is worth comparing the two before you pick, because the site does not do that comparison for you.

Free bingo, and the Newbies Room

The thing that separates this from most of its siblings is that free bingo has its own section in the navigation rather than being buried in a promotions page.

New players get the Newbies Room, and the arrangement there is genuinely free: three days of play without a deposit. That is the most useful thing on the site for anyone who has not played online bingo before, because it lets you learn the pace of a room, work out what the chat host does, and decide whether you like it, all before any money is involved.

Beyond that there is a Lady Luck game for active members, daily cashback, and jackpot rooms where a slice of every wager feeds a growing pot.

The Ladies Shop

The loyalty scheme is the site's own idea rather than a platform default, and it works differently from the points schemes on most bingo sites.

Play earns coins, and the coins are spent in a shop rather than converted to a cash or bonus balance. Whether that is better or worse than a straight points-to-cash conversion depends entirely on whether the shop stocks anything you want, which is a question only you can answer once you are inside. What it avoids is the trap several sister sites fall into, where loyalty pays in bonus credits that then need wagering all over again.

Bingo and games

The bingo is 75-ball and 90-ball, the two formats British players actually ask for, running on Dragonfish. Rooms fill from across the network, which is how a site this size supports a schedule and a jackpot at the same time.

Away from bingo there are slots and instant games, with the usual mix of the popular titles rather than a deep library. The site is a bingo hall with a slot lobby attached, and the welcome offer pointing at the slots does not change that.

Depositing and withdrawing

PayPal is accepted, which is worth knowing because several sites on this platform restrict the welcome offer to debit cards.

One thing to expect at sign-up, and it caught me out. When I created an account I was only offered debit cards as a payment method. That is a verification step rather than a restriction on the site: until the account is confirmed, the wallet options do not appear. Maybe this site is more diligent than others, but it is following the same external guidelines everybody else follows, so I would be surprised if that were the case. Either way, plan on a debit card for the first deposit and add PayPal afterwards.

The long-standing complaint against this platform, and the one recorded in our earlier review, is withdrawal speed. Nothing the operator publishes puts a current number on it, so we are not going to. Test it with a small first withdrawal rather than a large one.

Who it suits

Someone new to online bingo, because the Newbies Room and the free bingo section are the best on-ramp on this platform, and someone who wants PayPal without hunting for it.

It suits you less if the welcome offer is what you came for, because £5 of spins paying into a bonus at the legal maximum is a thin start.

Playing safely

A free room is genuinely free and a good place to find out whether you enjoy this before spending anything. Three days of it is also a marketing device, and both of those things are true at once.

Every licensed British site provides deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and you can set them when you register rather than after something has gone wrong. If gambling has stopped being entertainment, GamCare runs a free confidential helpline on 0808 8020 133, and GAMSTOP will exclude you from every licensed British site at once.

888Ladies review summary

Three out of five. The bingo side is well built and unusually welcoming: 75 and 90-ball on Dragonfish, free bingo with its own place in the menu, a Newbies Room giving three days of play without a deposit, and a loyalty scheme that pays in shop coins rather than in bonus funds you have to gamble again. PayPal is accepted.

It sits at three because of what brings you through the door. Fifty spins at 10p is £5 of play, the winnings land in a games bonus rather than in cash, and clearing them means ten times wagering, which is the most British law now allows. The alternative 100% games bonus is the better of the two and the site does not tell you so. Come for the free rooms, not the sign-up.
