Casumo is a colourful, award-winning casino that focuses heavily on gamification. I’m always complaining that the online gambling industry is too cookie-cutter and refuses to try anything new, so I’m eager to explore sites that genuinely try something different.

It’s still a licensed UK casino. It still features the same games you know, love/hate, and have played a thousand times before. Unlike Jammy Monkey and other InTouch sites, it doesn’t do anything new in that regard. However, the way the site is structured and the promotions it offers are very different.

Before we get to the features that make Casumo unique, let’s address the welcome bonus. It’s pretty standard, and it’s not all that special.

It’s a 100% matched deposit offer with a cap of £25. It also comes with 20 free spins on Sahara Riches.

You must opt-in to qualify and will also need to deposit at least £10.

Although the bonus isn’t huge, the terms are fairly relaxed, as the wagering requirement is fixed at just 30x and applies to both the bonus credits and free spin winnings. You have 30 days to clear those terms and can wager a maximum of £5 per spin when doing so.

Now for the stuff that makes Casumo unique.

The site offers daily rewards in the form of “Valuables”, which are basically the same as the perks and rewards found on other sites. They are much more frequent though and there is a solid gamification system that makes them fun to collect and ensures all players are incentivised to do so.

If you spend a lot of time and money on the site, you can “level up”, at which point the rewards get bigger and the perks get more interesting. It’s all relative though, and there are enough rewards to keep all players interested.

Casumo also has lots of “slot races” and giveaways. To qualify, you just need to play. You will be taken to a separate screen where you can play the game while watching the leaderboard and checking your progress.

If you win on the slots, you get to keep that money, but you’ll also earn points that could help you to scale the leaderboard. If you were going to settle down for a slot session anyway, it’s well worth waiting for one of these races to come along.

Okay, so Casumo is not exactly unique. It has the games and promotions you will find elsewhere. But it offers them in a way that feels different and the gamification ensures you’re incentivised to keep checking in.

If there were only a couple hundred slots and the bonuses weren’t generous, all of that extra stuff wouldn’t be very appealing. But the giveaways are huge, the bonuses are generous, the terms are reasonable, and there are nearly 3,000 games.
