Bingo Paradise Rating

Betfair Casino is part of the Flutter Entertainment brand, one that also includes Paddy Power, PokerStars, FanDuel, and more.

In a football context, it’s like a major brand came along and bought all the Big 6 Premier League teams.

Chelsea would be the Paddy Power of that scenario. Man Utd would be Betfair. As for Tottenham…well, they’d be the least impressive casino that no one really likes.

Much like Man Utd, Betfair’s golden era has been and gone. It’s not the omnipotent beast it once was, but as the following review will show, it’s still a worthwhile contender.

Welcome Offer

Betfair made its name via the Betfair Exchange, a site that initially attracted serious bettors and high spenders with its high minimum wager and complicated setup. It has veered away from those roots though and Betfair Casino tends to focus more on casual players.

The welcome bonus is a prime example of this. It’s a no deposit bonus that offers 50 free spins. The spins are fixed to Daily Jackpot slot machines and have a value of 10p each, so the total value is just £5.

To collect this bonus, just sign up as a new player and verify your phone number. As long as you haven’t joined, deposited, and played in the past, you should be able to collect. It has been going for a long time though and is a pretty famous brand, so many of you won’t qualify.

There is no wagering requirement and you can collect another 50 free spins (also worth 10p each) when you deposit your first £10.

It’s a solid bonus for casual players, but it won’t get you excited if you’re a high-spender looking to deposit in the hundreds.

Other Promotions

Betfair Casino has just a few active offers at the time of writing. That’s not always the case and it offers plenty of free spins, reload promotions, and tournaments throughout the year, but it’s not as generous as other casinos in this department.

It lacks the depth of promotions that you get with Jumpman Gaming casinos like Rocket Slots and Rocket Bingo, and it also doesn’t have much for high rollers.

As noted above, £5 worth of free spins isn’t going to do much for you if you usually deposit £100 or more at a time. You want a substantial matched deposit bonus, a massive loyalty scheme, a loyalty program, and more. Betfair Casino doesn’t really go deep in this department and that’s a shame.

Games Available at Betfair Casino

Betfair Casino is a small part of the huge Betfair website. There are several tabs that form part of Betfair Casino.

The “Casino” tab is the most obvious and the most complete. You’ll find the latest slot games, live casino games, and more. This is also where you’ll find the casino’s bonuses and other promotions.

If you’re looking for more of a classic slot experience, click on the “Slots” tab. There is also a tab for “Live Casino”, and all of these tabs have separate categories.

There was a time when these sections were very different and offered games from different developers. Back then, the slots were listed under “Arcade” and that’s pretty much where I spent all of my time. These days, the categories basically blend into one and you don’t feel like you’re jumping between several different sites.

Betfair Casino offers games from developers like Playtech, Blueprint Gaming, NetEnt, and a few others. It’s a selection that ensures a wide variety of progressive jackpot games, as well as Megaways titles.

As noted in previous reviews, one of my biggest complaints about UK online casinos is that they tend to focus too much on Microgaming. I like Microgaming, but I’ve been playing and reviewing them for years, so I’m always happy to see sites that focus more on Playtech.

That’s the case with Betfair Casino, and it means the site offers the great Age of the Gods series, among others.

Depositing and Withdrawing

Betfair Casino has a minimum deposit of just £5 for some payment methods, but others require at least £10. It accepts a number of payment options, including PayPal, Skrill, and debit cards.

There is no charge for depositing or withdrawing through Betfair Casino and withdrawals are processed quite quickly. The pending time is usually less than 24 hours, so you should get your funds fairly quickly.

Of course, the exact timeframe will depend on the method used, with PayPal offering one of the fastest processing times.

Betfair Casino Review Summary

I used to be a huge fan of Betfair until a bad experience turned me away. It’s under new ownership now though and I really like the site. I am also a fan of how Flutter do business and they have impressed me many times in the past.

All things considered, it’s hard not to be impressed by what Betfair Casino has to offer. I still feel like it needs a little more—more promotions, more offers for high spenders—but it’s a great site, nonetheless.
