*Yako Casino has now closed. This review will be left for historical purposes, and will not be updated.* Yako Casino is a UK online casino operated by L&L. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because this is the same brand behind Yeti Casino, which was reviewed a short time before this one. I had a lot of good things to say about Yeti Casino and my only real gripe with the site was the way it looked. There was something a little off with the design and colour, something that didn’t sit quite right with me. Yako Casino uses the same layout, but I much prefer the design. It also benefits from the same easy navigation, as well as many of the other things that ensured Yeti Casino got such a high score. Keep reading this Yako Casino review to learn more.

Welcome Bonus

You can’t collect the Yako Casino welcome bonus if you deposit using Skrill or Neteller. I feel like I have to get that out of the way early, as I know it’s a term that many players miss. I have personally missed it a lot in the past when it referred to PayPal. The bonus gives you a 100% match on your first deposit, with a cap of £99. You will also get 99 free spins on the Book of Dead slot. The minimum qualifying deposit is £10, which would get you an additional £10 in bonus credits, and there’s a wagering requirement of 40x, with no cash-out limit. So, if you deposit £100, you’ll get £99 and 99 free spins. If you’re lucky enough to turn those credits and spins into a big return of £1,000, you can keep all of what remains when you get through the £3,960 wagering amount. Loyal Yako Casino players can also take their pick of regular reload offers, free spins, and tournaments, the latter of which seem to be the most common and the most interesting. These tournaments give you points when you play certain slots, with those points then determining your place on the leaderboard. If you finish in the top few places, you’ll get a return of cash, credits, or free spins. The tournaments are usually huge, and this is reflected in the number of prizes on offer, so a lot of players will walk away with a win. Check the promotions section to see what’s available and keep your eye on those tournaments. There is usually at least one of them active at any given time.

Games

L&L sites don’t disappoint in the gaming department, and Yako Casino is no exception. The slots span a variety of categories, and while I would have appreciated some more filters/categories to sort through them, the selection is solid. You have classic slots covering the likes of Rainbow Riches and Reactoonz, and you also have a large number of games from the “Book Of” series, not to mention the obligatory avalanche of Megaways titles. Progressive jackpot slots are abundant as well and this is where one of my personal favourite developers, Blueprint Gaming, shows up. The table games are extensive and there is also a live casino with titles from Evolution Gaming. You’ll find popular games such as the Lightning and First Person series, as well as live slots like Gonzo’s Quest Treasure Island. If you venture over to the “Casual Games” section, there are a bunch of video poker titles, as well as crash games. Crash games are becoming increasingly common on UK casinos and I welcome the introduction. These games got their start on non-UK crypto sites and tasked you with wagering on an ever-increasing variable, with the goal being to cash out for a profit before it crashes and you lose everything. If you’re new to crash games, check out Spaceman. It was one of the first that I played and I think it’s the best representation of how they work. Yako Casino also has a sportsbook. It’s small, but major sports and events are covered.

Deposits, Withdrawals, and Customer Support

Yako Casino accepts payments in a few different banking options, including Neteller and Skrill—just remember that you can’t collect the welcome bonus if you use the latter. PayPal is also accepted and you can collect the welcome bonus using PayPal. Withdrawals should be instant. As for customer support, Yako Casino goes all out with emails, contact forms, live chat, and phone support. You can even use the live chat support if you’re not a member, which is becoming increasingly less common.

Yako Casino Review Summary

I really liked this site. It’s more or less a carbon copy of Yeti Casino, but it takes the minor issues I have with that site and fixes them. It looks better, the welcome bonus is bigger, and everything else is the same—perfect! It’s a winning formula from L&L and I’d be happy to see more.
