As I write this review, I am binge-watching Death in Paradise, drinking a colourful cocktail, and sweating. It’s the perfect time for a tropical casino review!

Okay, so the “cocktail” is just Vimto, the sweat is because I have the thermostat too high, and it’s blowing a gale outside, but it’s the closest I’m going to get to a tropical experience in the COVID-riddled English winter.

Furthermore, Barbados Bingo is just as much of a tropical paradise as my office is right now. It’s basically a colourful logo and a tropical-themed name slapped on a bland backdrop with a stock image of a blue sky.

I know that online casinos don’t have the best reputation or the most imagination when it comes to developing themes, but I was expecting something a little…more.

Still, if we ignore the theme and focus on the basics, there’s a lot to like here.

There is one term that annoys me more than any other on Barbados Bingo:

It really shouldn’t exist on a casino/bingo site in 2023. It’s a massive issue for small stake players and could mean using 25% of your withdrawal amount.

Withdrawals are also a little slow here as there is a pending period of up to three days.

On the plus side, Barbados Bingo accepts PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, PaysafeCard, and Pay By Mobile, so you have a few options to choose from.

Barbados Bingo Review Summary

Barbados Bingo is a solid but flawed gambling domain. The theme is a little simplistic and uninspiring and while the games and bonuses are good, it’s just more of the same from a brand we’re all very familiar with.

Everything is also a little too slow and unnecessary at times, from the slow customer support to the withdrawal charges and prolonged pending periods.

I still feel like it deserves a 3/5, as I would still play here and I’m sure many others would. The aesthetic, though flat, isn’t much of a problem when you get inside the site. The fee is annoying but gets less annoying the more that you wager and withdraw. And while the pending period drags on a little, the same could be said for many other online casinos and bingo rooms.

The bonuses make up for a lot of the site’s shortcomings, and it’s always good to have such a varied selection of bingo rooms and games to choose from.
