NetBet has been around for a long time, as it first launched back in 2001. This sportsbook and casino hasn’t achieved the same level of popularity as some other early-2000s brands, but it has always provided players with a polished experienced.
It’s a site I know pretty well and one that has provided me with some positive experiences. In preparation for this review, I recently returned to NetBet to make a deposit and play some casino games.
Here’s what I discovered…

Welcome Offer
As a new NetBet player from most European countries, you’re entitled to a Welcome Bonus of up to €200. If you switch your location to the UK, this drops to 500 Free Spins. Depending on what type of player you are and how much you typically wager, this could be better or worse.
You’ll get 50 Free Spins when you first join and deposit and up to 450 Spins over the next 6 days. The spins come in batches of 25 and you’ll get between 0 and 75 per day for those 6 days.
All deposits using Skrill or Neteller are excluded and Free Spin winnings have a 40x wagering requirement.
You must also enable marketing communication to get the additional batches of spins. If not, you’ll just collect the initial batch of 50 and nothing more.
To casual players making very small deposits and wagers, this is a decent bonus. But if you’re the sort of player who usually deposits £50 or more, it’s simply not as beneficial as the matched deposit bonuses you can get elsewhere.
As well as the Deposit offer, 20 No Deposit Free spins are available to new UK players. These Free Spins are allocated, after you register using BOD22. The free spins are playable on Book of Dead, and must be used within 7 days. FS winnings will be paid in bonus cash and need to be wagered 4ox before being converted into withdrawable cash.
Tournaments, giveaways, Free Spin offers, and other bonuses are available to loyal players and you can start collecting these as soon as you join and use your initial batch of spins. These loyalty bonuses make things more interesting, but they don’t make up for the poor casino Welcome Bonus.
There are also Free Bets and other offers tied to the sportsbook, but these aren’t very impressive, either.
Slots and Other Games
When I first joined NetBet, I did so for the sportsbook, as I am sure many players did. The online casino came later and while it offers lots of games, it’s not as polished or detailed as the sportsbook.
I would go as far as to say that NetBet sportsbook can contend with the top 10 online sportsbooks in the UK, but I would never make the same comments about its casino.
It is trying, though.
It includes lots of progressive jackpots and Drop & Wins, as well as a couple of elusive games. It also has partnerships with some of the most popular developers in the United Kingdom, such as NetEnt and Microgaming.
Mega Moolah is one of the many jackpot games on offer, and there is also a Mega Moolah Jackpot Party promotion based around this game.
NetBet includes some good filters and category options to help you search through its games room and you can use your NetBet casino account to place sports bets.
If it’s Live Casino games you’re looking for, there is no shortage of them and there are even a couple of exclusive offerings. NetBet also has a Virtual Sports section, which is a guilty pleasure of mine that I am always drawn to.
Other sections to look out for include the Lotto room, which includes live feeds of lottery games and keno games from all over the world.
Customer Support
I have previous with NetBet customer support. Usually, that means I had a bad experience, left the site, and am about to rant and moan, just like I did with 888Casino and countless other sites (I either have a lot of bad experiences or moan too much).
But where NetBet is concerned, I was pleasantly surprised.
This experience came a few years ago, when I was a little wetter behind the ears, but I found them to be very helpful. I spoke with a few individuals on Live Chat and they helped me with an issue that was quite complicated. It was clear that English wasn’t their first language and they were a little on the slow side, but they were very pleasant and helpful, and that’s all I ask.
To see if things had improved or worsened since then, I spoke with NetBet customer support prior to this review and was happy to discover that they were just as helpful.
They were quicker, as well, and English was definitely their first language.
It’s one of the few times a casino was doing something right and then actually made it better.
NetBet Casino Review Summary
I am not exactly an avid user of NetBet, but I have been a member for a long time and I drop by every now and then. Over the years, I have seen some huge improvements here. Not only is the customer support much better, but there are more games, a more streamlined browsing experience, and better support for all platforms.
What’s more, it has maintained its generous Welcome Bonuses. These bonuses have always been sizeable and inviting, which is why many people reading this review probably have a NetBet account that they have forgotten about.
I wouldn’t put NetBet on the same level as the highest-rated sites on this list, especially if I’m just judging it based on its casino, but I would definitely recommend signing up.
