Slot Machine may sound the least original name ever given to an online casino, but in an industry where sites are named after everything from a random string of numbers to abbreviations that are never explained, it’s brilliant.

Last week I reviewed a casino named after an Asian sandwich and one that adopted a theme that had something to do with an alien gymnast on a quest to find a diamond in space, all while using a name that made even less sense than the brand story.

Slots and Bingo Rooms

Click the “All Games” link in the top menu and you’ll be directed to a sizeable games room filled with tried-and-tested player favourites such as Thunderstruck II, Buffalo Blitz, Book of Gold, Immortal Romance, and Fishin’ Frenzy.

It’s also got Starburst. Because of course it has. You can’t have an online casino without Starburst and/or Gonzo’s Quest. Apparently.

Microgaming provides the bulk of the games, but there are also plenty of titles from the brilliant Blueprint, the reliable NetEnt, and a bunch of other creators.

Customer Support

Customer support is one of the downsides of all Jumpman Gaming casinos. It’s not bad. In my experience, they’re actually very helpful. They’re just not very quick and you don’t have many options.

If you click the “Contact Us” link, you’ll be directed to an FAQ. I understand why casinos do this, but it’s a little infuriating.

It’s like those automated phone lines that you have to deal with when you want to contact your bank or insurer.

They drag you through a bunch of statements, provide answers to questions that you didn’t ask, and after 10 minutes, when you finally make it clear that you want to speak with an advisor, they tell you that they’re busy and hang up.

This is the virtual equivalent, but thankfully, it’s a little quicker. Just skip to the bottom of the FAQ, click “I still need help” and select the second “click here” link.

At this point, you’ll be shown two contact options: “FAQ” and “Email”. The FAQs are the casino’s way of saying, “But are you really sure that you want to contact us? Don’t you want to return to the FAQs that you just read/skipped instead?”

It’s disappointing that there are no Live Chat or Phone options, and it’s even more disappointing that it asks you to wait up to 2 days for an email response. On the plus side, however, they replied within a few hours when I contacted them.

Depositing and Withdrawing

Jumpman Gaming casinos have a lot of great features, including an abundance of top games and bonuses. But their biggest fault, and one that is present on the majority of their sites, is the withdrawal speed.

Slot Machine will sit on your withdrawal for 72 hours before finally releasing it to your chosen payment method. I’m not entirely sure what they do with your money in that time, but whatever it is, it’s not necessary. If it was, everyone would be doing it, and yet sites like 32Red and William Hill process payments in just a few hours, sometimes instantly if you’re using Paypal.

It may seem trivial—after all, it’s only a few days. But we’re living in an age of instant gratification, and if your rivals are at the front of the line handing out profits, why are you stuck at the back inspecting forms and checking your watch?

There is also a transaction fee of £2.50 levied on all withdrawals.

On the plus side, you can use several different payment methods (debit cards, PayPal, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile) and there is a minimum deposit of £10.

Slot Machine Review Summary

Although Slot Machine has a basic name and a simple aesthetic, it’s a site with plenty of depth and enough bonuses and games to keep most players happy. If you’re looking for that one site to remain loyal to, a site that ticks all boxes, provides all features, and keeps you content even after many months, you may be better off with Wink Slots or Foxy Games.
