For those in Leeds, there’s a brilliant Mecca Bingo branch just over at Crossgates. Their fantastic staff and great callers will give you a very warm welcome. If you’re interested in playing there, then you can read our full hall review to find out how to get there, what to expect and the session times.

Session Times
To kick off our review of this hall, let’s have a look at when you can play there. They mostly have afternoon and evening sessions, though there is a morning bingo session that you can take part in on a Saturday. Through the week, the emphasis is on the afternoon and evenings, with the first games kicking off around 1pm.

They’re open all the way up to midnight, so if you’re in for a late session you can still have hours of fun. This schedule isn’t the most flexible, but if you’re not fussed about playing early in the morning then it will work for you.

Game Prices
The pricing of this hall is pretty standard, with the earlier games having smaller ticket prices. If you’re playing at peak times in the evening or on the weekend then you can expect to pay a little more. For paper bingo, you’re talking between £1 and £15 on various games.

If you opt to use the Mecca Max digital terminals then prices will vary here too. These can be a bit cheaper, especially if you buy online before hitting the club. These can be played for pennies if you want to try them out.

About Club
The Crossgate suburb is located a little outside of Leeds, though there are plenty of buses that service the route. They have a bingo area and a separate gaming area, where you’ll find the video slots.

The building itself is absolutely massive, with some retail space rented out to local businesses. It’s an older hall, though it has been refurbished recently to make sure it’s up to date with what players will be expecting.

Facilities and Trivia
The Facebook page for this brand is a great way to keep up to date. There’s a page specifically for the hall, where you can ask questions and review your experience.

There’s a car park for those who drive to the venue, with spaces for more than 100 vehicles. This includes a bay of disabled spaces for those who may require them. There’s disabled access and also hearing loops for those that rely on hearing aids.

For some light refreshments, you can visit the bar and diner within the hall. There’s an option for table service if you want to get right back to your game. The full menu for the diner has recently changed and is even better than ever before!

Anything Unusual?
The area that this bingo hall is in means that it is a bit larger than some other halls in the city centre. The hall is a favourite for those in the community, with a steady stream of regular players that are always coming back for another game or two.
