Gala Bingo will climb the highest mountain to help raise funds for Sue Ryder Care. Gala Bingo employees will be treking Mt. Everest to aid the people in Sue Ryder Care. Gala Bingo aims to raise £ 1,000,000 by 2010 for charity and this is just one of their fund raising campaigns.

Today, 24 dedicated members of Gala Bingo will climb Everest and will be at Lukla on October 16th and finish at Everest Camp on November 3rd. All the proceeds will go to Sue Ryder Care. The amount that will be raised will help people living with cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, stroke and brain injury.

10% of the tickets sales from the Everest Bingo game which will be on Thursday evening at 7:25pm will go to the Everest Fund Raising Program.

 This is not the first time the Gala Bingo will donate something for Sun Ryder Care. In fact, Gala Bingo and Mrs Kezia Obama (Step mother of US Pres Barack Obama) were able to raise £20,000 in just 10 days early this year. The game went live on January 14 and raised a fantastic £10,000. www.Galabingo.com matched the amount raised for its group-wide charity, bringing the total donation to £20,000.
