Bingo is good for the health says Scientists

Bingo FabulousA research has shown that playing online bingo helps boost your brain. A test was done amongst bingo and non bingo players.

The result showed that bingo players have a better mental speed, memory and a greater ability to pick up information from their environment.

There are approximately 3M bingo players in the UK. Bingo is one of the preferred past times of pensioners. And it is one of the most played games in history. Julie Winstone, from the University of Southampton’s Center for Visual Cognition, has test bingo players' mental agility. In her research, there were 112 people range from ages 18 to 40 and older people ages 60 and 82. The 50% of the responders are regular bingo player and the others are not.

Winstone's study tested some of the skills of the players. Her study showed that bingo players are more accurate compared to non bingo players. Ms. Winstone also found out that older people who have been playing bingo were able to achieve a higher level of performance compared to non bingo players of a similar age. Part of the activities in the study are answering puzzles.

Ms. Winstone is currently studying for PhD. She plans to do more tests to prove that playing bingo really helps in enhancing people's mental ability.

Kevin Stacy, Rank Group Gambling’s spokesperson said that people who play bingo get a great deal of interest and excitement. Playing bingo not only gives you chances of winning gigantic jackpots but it also helps you maintain your mental ability.

So now you have an argument to present anyone who tells you that bingo is not a good idea!
