Busting Bingo Back Pain, tips and advice
Backpain is something we've all experienced at some time. It can be caused by a number of different activities. If you play bingo you should read this to the end!
Lots of people experience back pain after sitting in a chair for a long period of time. If you're into bingo it's likely that you'll have sessions where you sit, glued to the screen for hours on end. Perhaps you've already experienced back pain?
If so, there are a number of things you should consider to prevent the backpain in the first place. We've put together some tips to help you.
- Take regular breaks which involve leaving the chair and moving around (go get yourself some biscuits every now and then)
- Rolling up a towel and placing it in the small of your back (a scrunched up cushion will have the same effect)
- Place your feet flat on the floor
- Make sure your bottom is positioned at the back of your chair
According to Bradley Halliday, Student Physiotherapist, Following the above tips could play some role in preventing the onset of backpain, (except for the bit about getting biscuits).
