Bingo Paradise Rating

William Hill is one of the biggest betting companies in the world and one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the United Kingdom. Its betting shops are an iconic feature on British high streets and British racecourses, but as of July 2022, it’s actually owned by 888 Holdings PLC, a company based in Gibraltar.

In July 2022, 888 Holdings completed the acquisition of William Hill International non -US assets from Caesars Entertainment( an American Company) for £1.95billion.It has gone global, but the William Hill that we all know and love is still very much alive and well (for now).

William Hill Bingo is a small part of this historic brand, but it’s one of the fastest-growing sections of its website and is the destination of choice for fans of this classic numbers game. It’s also the focus of this review.

Slots and Bingo Rooms

William Hills bingo games start at just £0.01 per ticket and span a variety of 75-Ball, 80-Ball, and 90-Ball titles, along with specials like Cash Cube and Bingo Bowl.

The bingo games are hosted on the Virtue Fusion platform, a Playtech-owned company that also provides titles for sites like Mecca Bingo.

It’s a good mix of classic and new titles, including Age of the Gods, where the Full House winner reveals a god symbol to unlock big prizes, and Rainbow Riches, which is based on the Leprechaun-themed slot of the same name.

William Hill has an expansive selection of slot machines in the Casino, Games, and Vegas sections of its website, but you’ll also find over 150 titles on William Hill Bingo. There are a few dozen Slingo games, 19 Megaways titles, some instant bingo classics, and a variety of games from the likes of NetEnt, Scientific Games, Blueprint Gaming, and IGT.

If you’re looking for slots, I recommend the Games and Vegas tabs instead (full review of William Hill Vegas here). The former has a good selection of jackpot slots—63 at the time of writing. The best of these are the ones in the Jackpot King series, including Ted, The Goonies, and Fishin Frenzy, all created by Blueprint Gaming.

This section is also home to Live Game shows provided by Evolution Gaming, including Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, and Deal or No Deal Live.

The Vegas section is more of the same, albeit with less of an emphasis on jackpots and more of a shift toward exclusive video slots and popular bonus slots.

I’ve never quite understood why these major gambling sites insist on having three or four sections that are basically the same thing (something you’ll also see on Betfair and Ladbrokes), especially as they have many of the same games. Maybe it’s a regulation thing, who knows, but if nothing else, it helps to further categorise the vast selection of games that these sites have.

Depositing and Withdrawing

William Hill accepts PayPal and since April 2020, when the laws on credit card gambling changed, it has declared that it no longer accepts PayPal payments if they are funded using a credit card.

This can and has been misconstrued to mean that your payment will be rejected if you have a PayPal account connected to a credit card. I always use PayPal to deposit and it has always been connected to my credit card, so I can confirm that this is not an issue. If you have a credit card on account, just make sure you add a bank account or debit card and select that option when prompted.

Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), Paysafecard, Neosurf, and bank transfers are accepted as well, and it also takes something known as William Hill CashDirect. Basically, you just need to visit your local William Hill, purchase a CashDirect voucher, and enter the voucher number into your William Hill Bingo account.

In terms of minimum withdrawals, the limit is set to just £5 if you choose to use Visa Debit or MasterCard whilst the minimum for Paypal is £10 and £25 for Apple Pay.

Withdrawals need to be processed through the same method used to deposit, and these are usually processed within a few hours. The site claims that withdrawals take up to 1 working day, but in my experience, the money is usually in my account the following morning after a session of play.

Of course, it depends on the method you choose. PayPal is much quicker than debit cards or bank transfers, which can take up to a few working days.

William Hills Bingo Review Summary

William Hill is regulated by the authorities of Great Britain, Gibraltar, and Malta. It has a vast history behind it and a reputation that any brand would kill for. It’s accessible, secure, has a few different bonuses, and offers a plethora of top games. And if you ever tire of playing bingo, you’re always just a click away from the sportsbook, slots, Live Casino, and everything else that this colossal brand has to offer.

It’s hard not to appreciate William Hill Bingo, but it’s not quite on par with the likes of Foxy Bingo. The community doesn’t feel as vibrant, the bingo promotions aren’t as plentiful, and while I personally prefer the option of having a sportsbook and casino attached, I’m only here to review the bingo side of things.

William Hill Bingo gets 4/5 as a bingo site, falling just short of perfection, but if you’re looking for a complete gambling destination, you’ll struggle to find anything better.
